ANALYSIS: The NHL's best and oldest rivalry is renewed Wednesday, and bettors may also want to consider an Over bet considering the Canadiens are No. 1 in the league in scoring and the Leafs fourth. I'm essentially taking Montreal because it is home, I trust Carey Price over Frederik Andersen in net, and the Leafs are missing two of their top forwards in the injured Joe Thornton and Wayne Simmonds. Montreal has won 11 of the past 14 at home in the series.

ANALYSIS: All-American Luka Garza is clearly the best player on Iowa, but shooting guard CJ Fredrick might be the most important. The sophomore is hitting 50 percent from deep this season, and dating to last season the Hawkeyes are 30-11 in the games when he has played, 4-4 in those he hasn’t and 1-3 in games when he only played one half. Fredrick suffered a lower leg injury on Jan. 17 vs. Northwestern and has barely played since. It's not a coincidence that Iowa has dropped four of five. Fredrick is supposed to play Wednesday so we'll give the points to Rutgers, a good team on a four-game winning streak but one that has laid a few road eggs this season.

ANALYSIS: This has by far the lowest total of any power conference game on Wednesday, and I simply think it's too low even though Virginia per usual ranks in the Top 10 nationally in scoring defense in allowing 60.1 ppg. The Wahoos offensively are playing more up-tempo this season, however. KenPom ranks them No. 9 nationally in adjusted offensive efficiency (AOE). Georgia Tech is the second-highest scoring team in the ACC at 76.7 ppg and No. 38 nationally in AOE. I see no way the combined score in this game doesn't reach at least 130.
