The Wolverines might have preferred a number of other Big Ten foes other than Wisconsin to greet them out of a lengthy COVID-related interruption. Their first game in 23 days happens against easily the stingiest defense in the league (62.4 points per game). Michigan went two full weeks without a practice or group workout. The Badgers will relish the chance to avenge a beatdown in Ann Arbor that was far worse than the 23-point margin suggests.

Arsenal vs. Leeds United picks (Sunday, 11:30 a.m. ET)

Arsenal will aim to arrest a poor run of results when it takes on Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The game pits the Premier League's youngest manager, Mikel Arteta, against 65-year-old veteran Marcelo Bielsa, and it promises to be a fascinating clash. It finished 0-0 when the teams met at Elland Road earlier this season, but Leeds missed several clear cut chances to win that game.

Bielsa's men should be full of confidence as they prepare to travel down to London for this game. Leeds has won three of its last four games, including a comfortable 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Monday. That has seen it climb above Arsenal in the table.

Arsenal Veers Back Into Crisis Mode

Arteta is now facing yet another crisis. He was under intense pressure following a dismal run of results in November and December, but then his team put together a seven-game unbeaten streak. That came to an end on February 2, when Arsenal had two men sent off in a 2-1 defeat to Wolves.

It then put in a poor performance when losing 1-0 to Aston Villa last weekend, and it has now lost 10 out of 23 games so far this season. That is simply unacceptable for a club of Arsenal's stature, and Arteta will be desperate for his team to rediscover the winning touch.

He will welcome goalkeeper Bernd Leno back after a one-game suspension. David Luiz can also start after completing his suspension, but Arteta may decide to play Pablo Mari or Gabriel alongside Rob Holding in defense.

The biggest concerns surround Kieran Tierney and Thomas Partey, arguably Arsenal's best two players. Tierney will miss out, while Partey is a doubt. That means Cedric Soares will have to continue in the unfamiliar left-back role, while Dani Ceballos could come into midfield alongside Granit Xhaka.

Leeds Takes Risks

Arsenal looks weak in defense, but it should have the attacking quality to cause Leeds problems. Bukayo Saka, Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Emile Smith Rowe, Nicolas Pepe and Martin Odegaard are all in contention to start on Sunday, and that represents a wealth of firepower.

The Gunners were dreadful in the last meeting between these teams, as they could not deal with Leeds' energy, but Arteta will have studied that game in detail, and Arsenal should improve this time around.

Leeds is an all-or-nothing team on the road. It has six wins and five defeats from 11 away games this season, meaning it is the only team in the Premier League that has not drawn an away match.

Bielsa is likely to encourage his team to take the game to Arsenal, put the opposition under pressure and take risks in an effort to secure victory. The strategy has been remarkably effective this season, but Leeds has sometimes been caught out on the break. The 6-2 defeat to Manchester United stands out.

Arsenal does have plenty of pace on the break if harnessed correctly, and the likes of Smith Rowe and Odegaard could exploit gaps in the Leeds defense. We could therefore be in for a more open and entertaining game than the last meeting between these teams.
