The MSU program has gone through a precipitous fall this season and are not playing at a level anywhere close to previous seasons under Tom Izzo. MSU has not won a game in West Lafayette since 2014 and Purdue is looking for their fifth straight win. MSU will have to shoot better from the field as Purdue is a perfect 9-0 when holding an opponent to less than 41.3% shooting this season.
Before we give up on MSU let’s take a closer look at a money line system that has produced highly profitable results over the last twenty seasons. The system has earned a 155-128 record for 55% winning money line bets and has made the $100 bettor $8,950 in profits. The requirements are to bet on any team losing to the spread by at least 48 or more points over their last seven games and is now facing a foe that has gone UNDER by a total of 42 or more points in their last seven games.
MSU has lost the spread by 62.5 points over their last seven games leading the betting community to abandon them as a betting opportunity. I took the Terps over Minnesota this weekend, and they thumped the Gophers in a double digit win. Now they host Nebraska, a team coming off it's first win in the BIG10 this season after starting 0-9 in the conference. It's not just that they won, but how they won that sets them up for a let down here in Maryland. A steal leading to the game winning bucket in the final seconds saw Nebraska shock Penn State by a score of 62-61. I can't help but think if that shot missed, and Nebraska lost 61-60, this line would be 2-3 points higher. That's where I see this line, it should be between 11-13. Nebraska didn't just lose their first nine games versus BIG10 teams, but seven of those losses came by a double digit margin. This should be another double digit loss for the Huskers.

The Key: The Minnesota Timberwolves just got Karl Anthony Towns back in the lineup recently. They are definitely a bet on team with him in the lineup moving forward. The Timberwolves have gone 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 games overall as they have been much more competitive. They just upset the Raptors on the road last time out as 7.5-point dogs. And they are a live underdog here against the Lakers, who just lost Anthony Davis to an Achilles injury that could sideline him for a month. The Lakers just aren't nearly as good without him. We saw them struggle a lot recently without him. The Lakers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. They needed OT to beat the Thunder twice and the Pistons at home. They just lost by 17 at Denver in the game that Davis left with injury. And now they are laying too many points on the road tonight to the Timberwolves. The Lakers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games. Los Angeles is 1-5 ATS in its last 6 road matchups in this series. Take Minnesota.

I will gladly take a shot here with Minnesota as a 6.5-point home dog against the Lakers on Tuesday. I just feel like LA is getting way to much respect on the road without one of the best players in the league in Anthony Davis, who is out indefinitely with an Achilles injury.
Davis got hurt late in the 1st half of their last game against the Nuggets on Sunday. You could see how the lost impacted them, as the Lakers managed just 44 points over the final 2 quarters. This is just not the same team without AD, as he's such a huge part of what they do on both sides of the ball.
I definitely expect LeBron to put this team on his back, but I just see LA having a really hard time getting up for this game against a bad Timberwolves team on the road and playing on just 1 day of rest. Not to mention the Lakers got Irving, Harden and potentially Durant coming to town on Thursday as they will host the Nets in in the second game of TNT's double-header.
As for Minnesota, they are just 1-4 in their last 5, but did win 116-112 at Toronto as a 7.5-point dog on Sunday. It continued a great ATS run here of late for the Timberwolves, as they are now 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 games. I wouldn't be shocked at all if they won this game outright. Give me Minnesota +6.5!

Tuesday NBA Free play. My selection is on Toronto plus the points over Milwaukee at 8:05 pm et on Tuesday.
This may look like a layup spot for the Bucks but I don't expect them to cruise to victory against what should be a highly-motivated Raptors squad. Toronto just couldn't get up for Sunday night's game against the T'Wolves, falling in upset fashion. Could you really blame the Raps for looking past the T'Wolves? Toronto now falls into a much more favorable situation as it has gone 148-112 ATS after suffering consecutive losses. The Raps are also a very profitable 31-19 ATS following an ATS loss, winning those games outright by an average margin of more than six points. This is obviously a difficult matchup but the Raps have held their own against the Bucks in recent years - you may remember they disposed of Milwaukee in the playoffs on their way to an NBA title two years ago. Things have changed and these two teams have gone in opposite directions since then somewhat but here on Tuesday night in Milwaukee at least, I look for the Raps to give the Bucks a run. Take Toronto (8*).

But all three losses came on the road and two came to the Suns and Jazz, who are playing as well as anyone in the NBA right now. The Bucks are back home tonight where they are 9-2 SU & 7-4 ATS this season and winning by 12.5 points per game. They play a Raptors team that has been a huge disappointment this season at 12-15 on the year. The Raptors were just upset by the Timberwolves at home after losing by 14 in Boston in their previous game. The Bucks are 54-34 ATS in their last 88 games as home favorites. Milwaukee is 9-1 ATS in its last 10 home games off an upset loss as a favorite. Give me the Bucks.
