      NBA | Mavs vs Magic
Play on: Mavs -6 -110 at Mirage

Jack's Free Pick Monday: Dallas Mavericks -6
The Dallas Mavericks have won seven of their last nine games overall. They just got Kristaps Porzingis back from injury last time out and put an end to Brooklyn's eight-game winning streak with a 115-98 road win Saturday. The Mavericks are now fully healthy for basically the first time all season.
I like their chances of getting a win and cover against the struggling Orlando Magic, who have lost three straight games by double-digits and by a combined 64 points. The Magic are now 7-19 SU & 11-15 ATS in their last 26 games overall. They haven't been healthy all season and certainly aren't right now.
The Magic are missing Markelle Fultz, Aaron Gordon, Cole Anthony and James Ennis. They don't have much talent right now outside of Vucevic, Fournier and Ross. And the fact that they have been starting Michael Carter-Williams at point guard, plus Bacon and Aminu at forwards tells you all you need to know about this team. Those are three replacement-level players.
The Mavericks are 21-8-1 ATS in their last 30 games as road favorites. Dallas is 4-1 ATS in its last five meetings with the Magic. The Mavericks are 11-3 ATS in the last 14 meetings in Orlando. Dallas won the first meeting 112-98 at home this season. Orlando is 0-11 ATS in its last 11 home games when revenging a loss by 10 points or more. The Magic are 6-20-1 ATS in their last 27 games as home underdogs. Bet the Mavericks Monday.

        NBA | Mavs vs Magic
        Play on: UNDER 222½ -113

Mavericks vs Magic Free Pick March 1, 2021
The Dallas Mavericks are 4-0 to the under in their last four contests, and either they or their opponent scored fewer than 100 points in three of those games. In this one they'll take on an Orlando team that is averaging only 104.9 ppg on the season (29th) and through its last three games, the Magic have averaged only 98 ppg.
Under is 4-1 in Mavericks last 5 road games. Under is 8-3 in Magic last 11 overall.
        Free pick on UNDER.

          NBA | Pacers vs 76ers
          Play on: 76ers -4 -115 at BetCris

My free play is on the Phi 76ers at 7:05 ET.
With the All Star break looming, the Philadelphia 76ers just barely own the East's best record at 22-12, a half-game better than the 22-13 Nets and one game better than the 21-13 Bucks. The 76ers hope to rebound from a 112-109 home OT loss Saturday against the undermanned Cavaliers (Philly is 14-3 at home) when they welcome the 15-17 Indiana Pacers to Philadelphia. Indiana is 15-17 and tied with Chicago for the final two East playoff spots (9th and 10th seeds) but note that the separation between the East's No. 4 seed (incredibly, the 18-17 Knicks) and the Pacers is just 1 1/2-games!
Indiana is coming off a 110-107 loss at the Knicks on Saturday, the team's THIRD in a row (0-3 ATS). PG Malcolm Brogdon (21.4-4.8-6.4) sat out the road loss to the Knicks with a knee injury and Jeremy Lamb (11.7 PPG in his 19 games since returning from his injury last season) left in the fourth quarter with a left knee injury. The status for both players is unclear against the Sixers. All Star Domantas Sabonis (21.4-11.4-5.9) got some help from Doug McDermott (13.1 PPG on 50.2%), who led the way with 20 points, while PG McConnell (6.3 & 6.7 APG) played a career-high 46 minutes against New York with 17 points and 12 assists.
Philly All Stars Joel Embiid (30.0 & 11.3) and Ben Simmons (16.0-8.1-7.9) had big games vs Cleveland (Embiid had 42 points and 13 rebounds while Ben Simmons added 24 points, eight assists and seven rebounds) but PF Harris (20.2 & 7.5) missed the game against the Cavaliers and it was evident that the Sixers were a different team without him. It didn't help that SG Seth Curry (12.7) missed 12 of his 13 field-goal attempts!
It's unclear whether Harris will be able to return from a right knee contusion for this one but as noted above, Philly is a dominant 14-3 SU at home and the pointspread is "more than reasonable" in this one. With the sizzling-hot Jazz coming to Philly on Wednesday (final game prior to the All Star break), the 76ers surely don't want to enter that contest on a two-game slide. Lay the points.
          Good luck...Larry

                NHL | Flames vs Senators
Play on: Flames -155 at pinnacle

The set-up: I think the Flames are worth the price of admission in this one. Calgary comes in off a 6-3 win over Ottawa on Saturday. The Senators had won three in a row previous to that. Ottawa has the worst defense in the NHL and I like Calgary to take advantage once again.
The pick: As note, Ottawa is an atrocious 3-14 in its last 17 after allowing five or more goals in its previous game and just 1-4 in its last five home games vs. a team with a losing road record. The Flames? They've done well in this spot for bettors, going 8-2 in their last ten when their opponent allows five or more goals in its previous game. Calgary's advantage in net will prove to be the difference-maker again in my opinion.
This is a 1* FREE SUGGESTION on the Flames.

                    NHL | Hurricanes vs Panthers
                    Play on: OVER 6 -109

These are two offensive-minded teams as was displayed this past Saturday night when the Hurricanes edged the Panthers, 4-3, in a shootout. Things were quiet on the scoring column until the teams exploded for five goals in the third period. It was the fourth consecutive time the Over has cashed when Carolina and the Panthers have met in Florida. Carolina ranks in the top-eight in the league in goals, shots on goal and power play percentage. The Hurricanes would have even better numbers, but they had just lost three straight games to the defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning before their Saturday game against the Panthers. The Lightning held Carolina to a total of three goals during those three games. The Panthers take the most shots in the NHL. They rank in the top-10, too, in goals and power play percentage. Florida has scored three or more goals in six of its last eight games while Carolina has surrendered at least three goals in 14 of its past 15 games.

FRANK’S CUTTING ROOM FLOOR FOR MONDAY, 3/1:

My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut in the NBA on Monday is on the Chicago Bulls plus the points versus the Denver Nuggets. Chicago (15-17) had their three-game winning streak snapped on Friday in a 106-97 loss. The Bulls have bounced-back to cover the point spread in 11 of their last 16 games after a loss. Chicago has also covered the point spread in 5 of their last 7 home games as an underdog. Denver (18-15) has won two of their last three contests after their 126-96 win at Oklahoma City as a 6.5-point favorite on Saturday. Despite the win and points spread cover, the Nuggets have still failed to cover the point spread in 6 of their last 8 games on the road. Denver has also failed to cover the point spread in 5 of their last 7 games as a favorite. Take Chicago plus the points. Best of luck — Frank.

The Pelicans lost a pair of games at Utah, in January. At the time, those lines were -6.5 for the Jazz. Now, thanks to Utah having been so hot, the Jazz are laying that many points on the road. With all due respect to the Jazz, who just keep covering, that's providing excellent value with the Pelicans. New Orleans has a winning home record and is also 9-7 ATS as an underdog. Playing with double-revenge, the Pelicans are going to be highly motivated to show that they can compete with this team. Don't be surprised when they give the Jazz all they can handle. Consider grabbing the points.

The New Orleans Pelicans are 5-2 SU in their last seven home games with one of their losses coming by 2 points to the Blazers. They have beaten the Suns and Celtics at home during this stretch. And they are ready to try and get revenge from two earlier road losses to the Utah Jazz by 16 and 11 points. I think they can stay within 7 points at home tonight and possibly pull the outright upset. The Jazz will be playing their 3rd road game in 4 days tonight. The Pelicans are 5-1 ATS in their last six games as home underdogs. Give me the Pelicans.

                              PICK - Arizona Wildcats +5
                              RATING: 30*
                              ROT#: 843
I really like the spot and the price we are getting here with Arizona as a 5-point dog against the Ducks. Knowing that the betting public will be all over Oregon in this matchup, I think the books have inflated the number to where there's too much value with the Wildcats to pass up.
Yes, the Ducks are hot, having won 7 of their last 8 games, which includes a 63-61 win at Arizona, their 6th straight win over Arizona in the series. Big thing to note is that line when Oregon visited Tucson was Ducks +1.5, which means they should only be around 2-3 point favorite at home.
Another thing that I love is that while Oregon still has two Pac-12 games left to play this week, including a massive game at UCLA on Wednesday that could decide the regular-season champ, this is the last scheduled game for Arizona. Not just for the regular-season, as they will won't be participating in any postseason tournaments due to a self-imposed one year ban.
I just think it takes this game to a whole different level for the Wildcats. I not only think they cover, but I give them a legit shot of winning this game outright. Give me Arizona +5!

                                NBA | Cavs vs Rockets
Play on: Cavs +2½ -107 at pinnacle

                                1* NBA - Cavs/Rockets *FREE PICK* on Cavs +2.5
Today's free pick is on the Cleveland Cavaliers as a 2.5-point road dog against the Houston Rockets. I'm not sure the Rockets in their current state should be favored over any team. Houston has lost 11 straight and just lost at home 84-133 to Memphis yesterday. They continue to play without their best player in big man Christian Wood, released their other big man in DeMarcus Cousins, and there's a decent chance they rest either Wall or Oladipo (maybe both) in the second game of a back-to-back. Until they get Wood back and start playing with any kind of urgency, they need to be faded. Bet the Cavs +2.5!
