    Dave's Tuesday Free Play:
    1* on UCF -3
The Key: Two teams going in opposite directions meet up in this American Athletic matchup Tuesday night. I like the price we are getting on the UCF Knights, who have gone 4-2 SU & 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall with their only two losses coming by a single point to Wichita State (60-61) and Cincinnati (68-69). One of those wins was a 65-58 road win over Tulsa on February 6th. The Golden Hurricane are now 2-6 SU & 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall with their only two wins coming against Temple and East Carolina. The home team is 6-1 SU & 5-2 ATS in the last 7 matchups with the only exception being that earlier road win by the Knights. The home team is 15-5-1 ATS in the last 21 matchups dating back further. The Golden Hurricane are 9-24 ATS in their last 33 road games when trying to avenge a loss. Take UCF.

NCAA-B | Texas vs Iowa State
Play on: Iowa State +11½ -110 at Mirage

Jack's Free Pick Tuesday: Iowa State +11.5
The Iowa State Cyclones continue to fight for their first Big 12 victory. And this has been the role they have excelled in recently as a double-digit underdog. They'll continue to fight tonight to try and get that elusive conference win.
Iowa State has a winning ATS record in Big 12 play this season and is 5-4 ATS in its last nine games overall. That includes a 4-point loss to West Virginia as 11.5-point dogs, a 7-point loss at Oklahoma as 14-point dogs, a 3-point loss at TCU as 4.5-point dogs, a 10-point loss to Oklahoma as 11.5-point home dogs and a 5-point loss to Baylor as 24-point dogs. They have been competitive, they just haven't been able to close out games.
Now the Cyclones want revenge from another close conference loss when they fell 72-78 at Texas as 12.5-point dogs in their first meeting this season. This is a Texas team that is struggling right now, especially on the road. The Longhorns are 1-2 SU & 0-3 ATS in their last three road games. They lost by 8 at Oklahoma State, by 9 at Texas Tech and barely beat Kansas State by 3 as 13.5-point favorites.
The home team is 10-1 SU & 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings. Texas is 1-8-1 ATS in its last 10 games overall. The Longhorns are 19-40-1 ATS in their last 60 games as favorites. The Cyclones are 62-39 ATS in their last 101 games when revenging a same-season loss. Bet Iowa State Tuesday.

        ASA

        Mar 02 '21, 7:00 PM in 22m
NCAA-B | Fresno State vs Boise State
Play on: Boise State -13½ -103 at linepros

#634 ASA FREE PLAY ON Boise State -13.5 over Fresno State, Tuesday at 7 PM ET - Boise entered last week in 1st place in the MWC but lost 2 tight games on the road vs the #1 rated team in the league, San Diego State. They lost the opener @ SDSU in OT and the second meeting by 4. The Broncos now sit in the 4th spot for the upcoming conference tourney but have the opportunity to move up in the standings if they win here and get some help. Boise has a fantastic home court advantage with a perfect 11-0 SU record this year and 23-1 their last 24 here at Extra Mile Arena. The Broncos have won their home games by an average of +17 PPG while making 48% of the shots. They have played 7 games vs the lower half of the MWC and they have won those games by an average of almost +19 PPG including beating this Fresno team by 22 points earlier in the year here at home. Fresno is coming off back to back road game @ UNLV (both losses) and now they hit the road for their 3rd game in 7 days. They are 8-10 in conference play but their road games vs the top half of the conference have not been pretty. They’ve played 5 games on the road vs CSU twice, Nevada twice, and Boise State and the Bulldogs have lost those games by 22, 22, 16, 14, and 22 points. FSU hasn’t even had to face the 2 top rated teams on the league (San Diego St & Utah St) on the road this season. Their offense ranks near the bottom of the MWC in most key categories including 9th in eFG%, 3-point FG%, 2-point FG%, and FT%. The Bulldogs rely heavily on getting to the FT line to score points but Boise allows only 16% of opponents points from the line. They simply don’t foul a lot. The Broncos are a complete team on both ends of the court ranking 2nd in the MWC in offensive efficiency and 3rd in defensive efficiency. They’ve had some bad luck as when teams do go to the line vs Boise they’ve hit 76% of their FT attempts which is the highest in the league. Fresno won’t get to the line much tonight and when they do they only make 65%. This is the home finale for a veteran Boise State team and we get them off 2 losses for extra incentive. They are 15-3 ATS following their last 18 SU losses and this has the makings of a blow out. Take Boise State.

          NCAA-B | Auburn vs Alabama
Play on: Auburn +11 -110 at linepros

          PICK - Auburn Tigers +11
          RATING: 30*
          ROT#: 625
I like the value here with Auburn as a double-digit dog against Alabama. This just feels like to many points for the Crimson Tide to be laying in this spot. With Saturday's win at Mississippi State the Crimson Tide secured the SEC regular-season title for the first time in 19 years. It would only be human nature for Alabama to suffer a letdown after that clinching performance against the Bulldogs.
On the flip side of this Auburn will be 100% ready for this matchup. Not just because this is their biggest rival, but because they want revenge against the best team in the league. The Tigers let a win over Alabama pass them by earlier this season, as they fell 90-94 at home to the Crimson Tide.
Auburn won't be lacking confidence coming into this one as they just upset Tennessee 77-72 as a 8-point home dog on Saturday. Sharife Cooper isn't expected to play here, but he also didn't play against the Vols and that was the best the Tigers have looked in weeks. Auburn is 8-2 ATS this season off a cover, while the Tide are just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games. Give me the Tigers +11!

Play on: Wizards +1 -107 at pinnacle

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Washington Wizards +1
The Washington Wizards are flying under the radar right now and are once again getting no respect as home underdogs to the Memphis Grizzlies. The Wizards are 7-2 SU & 8-1 ATS in their last nine games overall with seven of those games against playoff contenders. Their only two losses both came on the road on the second of back-to-backs to the Clippers and to the Celtics by a single point. They are 4-0 SU & 4-0 ATS at home during this stretch and should take down the Memphis Grizzlies tonight. The Grizzlies are 6-9 SU & 6-9 ATS in their last 15 games overall with five of those wins coming against the Hornets, Kings, Thunder, Pistons and Rockets. Washington is 10-1 ATS in its last 11 home games after covering four of its last five ATS. Memphis is 0-5 ATS in its last five games off a win by more than 10 points. Give me the Wizards.

                    NHL | Canucks vs Jets
Play on: Jets -130 at linepros

The set-up: I think the Jets, who were blanked here last night 4-0 by the Canucks, are worth the price of admission here in the second game of the back-to-back and in this revenge scenario. Previous to that victory the Canucks had lost four straight, and an immediate return to mediocrity seems imminent.
The pick: The Jets came into last night's game complacent after four-straight victories, but that won't be the case tonight after the humbling shut-out loss. Despite the setback, note that Winnipeg is still 5-1 in its last six at home. Vancouver on the other hand is just 2-9 in its last 12 after shutting out its previous opponent and winning by three or more goals in the process.
This is a 1* FREE PLAY on the Jets.

Play on: Predators +117 at linepros

The Hurricanes have had the Predators' number here in recent seasons. In fact, including a 4-2 win here earlier this season, the Canes are 5-0 their last five visits here. I feel that the Preds may be finally catching them at the right time though and that they're offering fair value as home underdogs. Carolina is off a hard-fought OT win against Florida last night. In addition to playing the second of b2b games, this will mark the Canes' third game in four days. Both the previous two went past regulation. The Preds, on the other hand, had last night off. Not only are they rested but they've played well lately, winning four of their last five. Schedule and venue in its favor, consider Nashville.

Tuesday NHL Free play. My selection is on Carolina over Nashville at 8:05 pm et on Tuesday.
The situation sets up well for the Hurricanes here even as they do play on the second of back-to-back nights following Monday's overtime win over the Panthers. Nashville comes in playing well, having won two straight and four of its last five overall. However, that sets it up poorly here, noting that it has gone 0-5 in the latter situation over the last two seasons, outscored by an average margin of 1.8 goals. The Preds are also just 8-13 when at home revenging a loss against an opponent over the last two seasons, outscored by an average of 0.9 goals in that situation. Take Carolina (8*).

                            1* NBA - Knicks/Spurs *FREE PICK* on Knicks -1
Today's free pick is on the New York Knicks -1 on the road against the San Antonio Spurs. The simple fact that the Knicks are a road favorite here is really all you need to know. Even though New York has been playing some of their best basketball, few are going to feel confident enough to lay their money with the Knicks on the road as a favorite. I think the books have made it pretty clear who you should be backing int his game and that's the Knicks. Key here is the Spurs are dealing with a ton of guys out with Covid and are playing in the second game of a back-to-back after going to OT last night at home against the Nets. I just don't see San Antonio being up for this one and wouldn't be shocked if Popovich didn't sit a few guys in this spot. Bet the Knicks -1!

FRANK’S CUTTING ROOM FLOOR FOR TUESDAY, 3/2:

My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut in the NBA on Tuesday is with Over the Total in the game between the Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers. Phoenix (22-11) has won five of their last six games with their 118-99 win at Minnesota as a 10-point favorite. The Suns have then played 4 straight games Over the Total after a double-digit win. Phoenix has also played 5 of their last 6 road games Over the Total against teams with a winning record at home. Los Angeles (24-11) has won two in a row with their 117-91 win against Golden State as a 2.5-point favorite on Sunday. The Lakers have played 4 of their last 5 games Over the Total after a win by at least 10 points. The Over is also 5-0-1 in Los Angeles’ last 6 games against teams with a winning record. Take the Over. Best of luck — Frank.
