Monday NHL Free play. My selection is on Minnesota over Vegas at 8:05 pm et on Monday.
The Golden Knights roll into Monday's game in Minnesota having won six games in a row - a streak that included a pair of victories over the Wild. Minnesota enjoyed a recent six-game winning streak of its own but has now dropped three of its last four games overall. Here, I believe the Wild are well-positioned to bounce back from Saturday's 5-2 loss in Arizona. Note that they've gone 9-1 when revenging a loss against an opponent by four goals or more over the last two seasons, as is the case here (Vegas defeated Minnesota by a 5-1 score on March 3rd). I can't help but feel some regression is in order for the Knights on the road, where they've allowed just 1.9 goals per game in eight contests this season (winning six of those). Note that Vegas has allowed four goals per game when on the road coming off a win by four goals or more against a division opponent (the Knights beat the Sharks 4-0 on Saturday). Take Minnesota (8*).

This is a poor Saint Mary's team compared to most years where they could give Gonzaga an actual test. They barely escaped with a 52-47 win over Loyola-Marymount last round to make this game. And they just don't score enough to keep up with Gonzaga, which is the best Bulldogs team we've ever seen. Gonzaga beat Saint Mary's 73-59 on the road and 87-65 at home, so it makes sense the books would set this game at -18. But the Bulldogs led by 27 at halftime in their last meeting before calling off the dogs. They won't be calling off the dogs today in this WCC Tournament. The Gaels are 11-24 ATS in their last 35 neutral site games as underdogs. The Bulldogs are 5-1 ATS in their last six neutral site games. Give me Gonzaga.

Back to back road games for the Senators, after playing last night in Calgary. In 5x5 G+-/60 Ottawa ranks 30th, while Edmonton sits 20th. Looking at the advanced stats xG/60 we see Ottawa -0.21 and Edmonton -0.11.
On the Power Play in G+-/60 Ottawa ranks 27th and Edmonton 8th. In xG/60 we find the Senators +5.26 and the Oilers 7.61. A substantial advantage for Edmonton.
On the Penalty Kill the G+-/60 ranking has the Senators 27th and the Oilers 24th. In xG/60 Ottawa is -5.81 and the Oilers are -7.89. So there is major regression coming for both these teams.

OK, admittedly a tough spot for the Ottawa Senators who will be playing the second game of a back-to-back after defeating Calgary in OT on Sunday, but I like them to keep it close here against Edmonton.
The Oilers had dropped three in a row before coming up with a 3-2 win over the Flames on Saturday. In their last six games, the Oilers have won by more than two goals only twice. We can also note that the Senators are 11-3 SU in the last 14 meetings in Edmonton. This price on the Sens +1.5 is just too good to pass on.

I believe this game between South Dakota and North Dakota State should be lined a pick 'em. And with the rest advantage the Coyotes have here over the Bison, I'm siding with them as a 3-point underdogs in the Summit League semifinals here in Sioux Falls Monday.
The Coyotes played their last game of this tournament on Saturday in an 86-69 win over Western Illinois. They'll still be fresh and ready to go after having yesterday off. Meanwhile, North Dakota State had to play on Sunday and survived a hard-fought 69-65 victory over Kansas City as a 4.5-point favorite. I think the rest and preparation advantage for the Coyotes is being overlooked here.
The Bison are 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games overall. North Dakota State is 0-4 ATS in its last four games following a SU win. The Coyotes are 8-1 ATS in their last nine games following a game where they made 55% of their shots or better. Bet South Dakota Monday.
