Cam Spencer's return -- he's 6 of 12 from deep in the four games he's played while averaging 11.8 points -- and Santi's Aldama's emerging dominance should enable Loyola to be competitive. Especially if the Greyhounds succeed in making this a slower-paced game. Take the points.

My math model only favors Alabama by 3.44 points in this game and the Crimson Tide will be without the services of Joshua Primo, who suffered a left MCL sprain in Saturday's win over Tennessee. Primo is averaging 8.1 points and 3.4 rebounds in 22:32 minutes per game this season and his absence will strain an already-thin Alabama bench. Indeed, the Tide are 134th in the nation in bench minutes and will be playing their third game in three days.

LSU owns one of the nation's best perimeter defenses and takes excellent care of the ball. The Tigers also possess a potent attack that is ranked 8th nationally in points per game (82.2) and 56th in field goal percentage (46.60).
