We like FC Porto +1.25 to keep things tight against Juventus on Tuesday.
Juventus were shockingly bad in leg 1 between these two teams three weeks ago, but were handed a huge boost with Chiesa's goal just 8 minutes from time to hand them a huge lifeline ahead of this week's 2nd leg clash.
And while Juventus are now favorites to progress from this tie, I believe +1.25 is just too high here for a Porto side that kept five clean sheets over their previous five Champions League games, including against Manchester City, prior to Chiesa's goal in leg 1.
Juventus have been notoriously slow starters this campaign, both domestically and on the continent, and will need to be on their guard here not to concede a 3rd Porto goal as that would force the Bianconeri to find 3 goal themselves to cover this line and progress automatically.
However, even if Juventus open the scoring, Pirlo will more than likely shut up shop as 1-0 would be enough for Juventus to go through here on Tuesday and move forward into the quarter-finals.
We like Porto plus the big number on Tuesday to keep things close in Turin.

Long Beach was coming together quite nicely and the 49ers looked like a potential deep sleeper heading into this conference tournament. But that all changed when leading scorer Michael Carter was kicked off the team following Friday's overtime loss to Irvine. Smallest possible sample to be sure, but the first game minus Carter was a horror show for the Beach. They got crushed in their Saturday game vs. the Anteaters. I'm not going to even try to make a case for Northridge, as they're not much. But minus Carter for the opponent I have to give the Matadors the edge here as they might well be facing a team that has called it a day for this season. Cal State Northridge minus the small spot.

Tuesday Champions League Free play. My selection is on Borussia Dortmund over Sevilla at 3 pm et on Tuesday.
Dortmund will need to regroup quickly after suffering a disappointing 4-2 loss at the hands of Bayern Munich in Bundesliga action on Saturday, and it will need to do it without Jadon Sancho, potentially among others. With that being said, Sevilla brings poor form into the second leg of this matchup and despite the close 3-2 result on paper in the first leg, it never really felt like Dortmund was truly under siege or mighty pressure from the Spanish side. Needing to play an attacking style as even a 1-0 victory here would not be enough to advance (Dortmund would hold the edge on away goals), I believe Sevilla will be forced out of its element in this particular match. Dortmund may be undermanned but it still has the talent on hand to not only hang on, but go on the attack itself and ultimately prevail in its home stadium on Tuesday. Take Borussia Dortmund (8*).

NO HARBOR IN SIGHT - As the only speedball in the race, I expect this gelding to be long gone. REMEMBERTOBREATHE - This gelding is in nice physical condition, having run a nice race on Feb 23rd, finishing fourth. Fits well considering the fact that the last time he tried this distance he got a fig good enough to win today. Personally, I wouldn't worry about where he finished in his last race (fourth). Should rebound in this field, with some pretty good odds.

RONNI'S DAY - Dropping in class figure points from her June 11th race at Belterra Park. Based on that valuable data, I will give this one the advantage. Believe in this horse. No other viable pace gives this equine a strong chance at the winner's circle. This horse's last three speed figures (39, 39, 40) are equal to or higher than today's class rating. That's good enough for me. Another way to evaluate class is earnings per start. This thoroughbred has the topmost in the field. I think she'll be close at the finish. MIZZEN SPOILS - Ran last time out against a high class rated field at Mahoning Valley Race Cour. The move down the ladder based on class rating points should suit her well. Always beware of the longer priced horse when a trainer has an 'uncoupled' entry in a race. This filly should be in tip-top shape, this far into her form cycle.
