        • Game: (717) UCLA at (718) Michigan State
          Date/Time: Mar 18 2021 9:57 PM EDT
          Betting Line Provider: Westgate
          Play Rating: 4%
          Play: UCLA +2.5 (-110)

My math model favors UCLA by 1.15 points in this game and the Bruins are in their preferred role as underdogs where they are a 70% ATS winning proposition. Michigan State continues to be grossly overvalued by the betting market as the Spartans are a money-burning 7-17 ATS in their last 24 games overall, 2-10 ATS in their last twelve games as favorites, and 1-6 ATS in their previous seven neutral site affairs. Let's also note that the underdog is 4-1 ATS in the past five meetings in this series.
The Spartans are 3-9 SU and ATS away from home this season where they are averaging just 63.5 points per game on 38.5% shooting from the field and 28.3% from beyond the arc. Michigan State had the second-worst offense in the Big Ten Conference this season. In contrast, head coach Mike Cronin's squad is loaded with talented shooters, beginning with Jaime Jaquez, Jules Bernard, and David Singleton. Jaquez is averaging 11.8 points per game (49.1% FG, 38.9% 3-PT), Bernard is averaging 10.0 points per game (39.4% 3-PT) and Singleton is making 47.8% of his three-point attempts in 2020-21.
Kentucky transfer Johnny Juzang leads the team in scoring with 14.2 points per game. The Bruins led the Pac-12 in three-point field goal percentage (39%) and their deliberate pace is ideal for pulling the upset. Michigan State's No. 11 seed is the lowest in school history and the Spartans have never won an NCAA tournament game as a double-digit underdog (0-3 straight-up). Grab the points with UCLA and invest with confidence.

5% CBB NCAA Game Of The Week
Game: (755) Cleveland State at (756) Houston
          Date/Time: Mar 19 2021 7:15 PM EDT
          Betting Line Provider: Consensus Line
          Play Rating: 5%
Play: Cleveland State +20.0 (-110)PLAY: 5% Cleveland State (+20) vs. Houston
Siding with the underdog Cleveland State here in what projects to be a methodical, defensive-oriented contest. Cleveland State HC Dennis Gates (Horizon Coach of the Year for 2nd straight season) has mirrored his program after Leonard Hamilton’s Florida State team where he was an assistant for eight seasons. Vikings relentless & competitive mentality should serve them well here vs. like-minded Houston. CSU defense has the legitimate opportunity here since they feature a pair of strong guard/swing defenders in 6’4” Tre Gomillion (Horizon Defensive POY) and 6’4” D’Moi Hodge plus shot-blocker Deante Johnson. Overall speed, quickness & athletic matchups are good here since each team’s personnel is constructed in a similar style. Cleveland State’s ability to defend the three-point arc is important here (36th in the country allowing 30.8%) since Houston generates nearly 36% of its points from long distances. Vikings offensive approach of penetrating the lane has them 40th in the nation in point production on two-pointers and could draw Houston into foul trouble. CSU also above average in turning teams over so they possess multiple likable qualities in this contest. Concerns here are UH’s tenacious defense along with the rebounding & free throw shooting disparities. UH has dominated the offensive boards this season while Cleveland State has been weak in defensive rebounding and seven of Houston’s top nine contributors shoot 70% or better from the foul line compared to three of nine for the Vikings. Expecting 100% focused & motivated effort from CSU and there is the potential that as a 20 point favorite we might see less than that out of Houston. HC Gates who has been here seven times with FSU was recruited by UH HC Kelvin Sampson so there’s a little ‘dog motivation there as well. Like the defensive-minded veteran-led underdog (5 upper-class starters) to make this game closer than the asking price indicates.

Opinion – (713) Drake (-1) over Wichita State at -1.5 or better (Thursday)

My ratings favor Drake by 2.5 points with their shorter rotation, which includes Hemphill coming back (Penn is still out though, but I’ve already adjusted for that).

Thursday NBA Revenge Play of the Year, NCAAB Play in Power System, Europa League Soccer and NHL Headline. Comp play below.

The Thursday comp play is on Texas Southern at 5:10 eastern. The Tigers have won 14 of 15 and have played a tougher non conference schedule. They have covered the spread in 7 of 8 Neutral court games and 10 of 14 vs a winning opponents. Mount St. Marys comes in off a pair of upset dog wins over Wagner and Bryant but will have a tough time with Tempo against a faster ,larger Texas Southern team here. Mount St Marys fits a tournament system we use that pertains to playing against teams off 2+ dogs wins vs an opponent off a win. Take Texas Southern today. On Thursday a Huge card is up with our Revenge Game of the Year headlines with a 36-0 stat indicator, the NCAAB Play in Power House system another Top NHL Play and the Europa League play of the Month in Soccer. See us on facebook to Jump on and cash out we ready for another big tournament. For the Comp play. Play on Texas Southern. Rob V- GC Sports.
