One of those guys is senior transfer Mike Smith, who seems to have found his footing with the team at just the right time. I'm just not a big believer in this LSU team either. I will lay the 5.5-points with Alabama as they take on Maryland in the Round of 32 on Monday. I paid the price going against Maryland in the First Round, as they cruised to a 63-54 win. The Terps played good defense, but the Huskies shot terrible from the start in that game. Maryland on the other hand shot 51.2%.
I just think it's going to be a really tough time repeating those kind of numbers against Alabama. The Crimson Tide didn't play great for a good portion of their game against Iona, but they got it together late. I like them to carry over that strong finish into a great start here against what I think is a very overrated Maryland team. Look for the Terps to struggle with the pace that Alabama will be looking to play at.
Maryland is also a mere 2-10 ATS in their last 12 off a game where they allowed 60 or fewer points and 0-7 ATS this season after a game where both teams failed to score more than 65 points. Give me Crimson Tide -5.5!

We have liked what we have seen from the Pacers the last couple games. We expect them to bring their A Game in one of their biggest games of the season. The Bucks are playing well for sure but they have been overrated by the oddsmakers. They have won six straight. But they have covered in only three of their last nine, so they have not been as dominating as they may seem on the surface. We think the Pacers are being punished too much for a back-to-back here but they played very early Sunday so they had more time off than usual for a B2B. We expect a close game here.
