And this streak should come to an end tonight in blowout fashion against the worst team in the NBA in the Houston Rockets. The Rockets are 0-20 SU & 2-18 ATS in their last 20 games overall. They have lost 12 of their last 13 games by 11 points or more. Give me the Raptors.

The Kansas Jayhawks definitely showed some rust in their 93-84 win over Eastern Washington as 10.5-point favorites. That was especially the case defensively as they allowed 50% shooting to the Eagles. It was expected after they had the COVID problems that knocked them out of the Big 12 Tournament.
Now the Jayhawks should be much sharper in their second game back, and I think it's a good time to 'buy low' on them here as underdogs to USC. They are also expected to get stud freshman Jalen Wilson (12.2 PPG, 8.2 RPG) back in the lineup after missing the Eastern Washington game. His presence alongside David McCormack (13.4 PPG, 6.1 RPG) gives the Jayhawks one of the best big man duos in the tournament.
That's huge for this matchup with USC, which probably has the best big man duo of Evan Mobley (16.1 PPG, 8.6 RPG) and Isaiah Mobley (9.0 PPG, 7.5 RPG). Those two dominated in their 72-56 win against overmatched Drake, which was undersized and a great matchup for the Trojans. Now I think the Trojans are overvalued off that performance, and it's a good time to 'sell high' on them.
Kansas is 9-1 SU & 7-2-1 ATS in its last 10 games overall with its only loss coming on the road to Texas by 3 points. That includes a 13-point win over Baylor and a 12-point win over Oklahoma State. The Trojans are 0-5 ATS in their last five games following a SU win. The Jayhawks are 14-6 ATS in their last 20 games following an ATS loss. Bet Kansas Monday.

Woodbine Mohawk Park has a solid card set for tonight. The 0.20 Early Pick 4 begins in Race 4 and it will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 4

4-Levy Taylore (7/2)-Beat this kind from the 8-hole at 7-1 and was used a couple of times. This barn has won 33% of starts in the last 30 days and this 8-year-old should enjoy the post relief.
5-Cool Rock (3-1)-Finished behind #4 in last. The trip was rough but was still rolling late. This will be the 1st start in the Moreau barn following a claim. Best to respect but is only 1 for 34 in the last 2 years and has won just 5 of 77 at Wbsb.

Race 5

2-Franks Angel (4-1)-Has raced well in the last 2 starts since joining the Henriksen barn. Appears to be best when races near the top of the stack and has the speed to get there. Looks like a player at a square price.
3-Toccoa Falls (6-1)-The concern is a slow start but has been trying hard. This post draw should help chances. Maybe Hensley can provide a good steer and put into striking range at the top of the lane.
5-RJS Invictus (8-1)-Broke 2 back but had a nice effort in last and trotted the 2nd half in 57.3. Taking a swing for a price and gets the services of McClure for the 1st time. This is the 4th start off the bench and could be sitting on a big try.

Race 6

1-Coolsunshine (6-1)-Loses McNair but Young should be able to keep in play and get away in a good seat. Price should be better tonight, could get sucked around and roll by late.
2-Big Chic Magnate (7/2)-This was McNair's choice and steps-up as is the case with #1. Has stayed flat in the last 2 starts and is a threat if minds manners.
5-Bettim Again (5/2)-Makes 1st local start and has had some quick miles on the 1/2 in Nova Scotia in 2020. Debuts for the Moreau barn and should be tough to beat if dialed on high.

Race 7

5-The Wheel (3-1)-Makes the 2nd start of the year and raced from the back last week after leaving from the 8-hole. Did roll hard in the back half closing in 27.3. Draws better and will likely be driven more aggressively from the start.
6-Hope So (5/2)-Cashed a 2nd place check in the same race as #5 and was used early from the 9-hole to get a decent seat. Went off as the chalk in last and looks like the one to beat here.

Picks Notes
#10 Full Power Second best last time out after chasing the pace, but he draws well to prompt the splits again here. Something like his last would probably do.
#9 Fifty Protection He steps back up after a useful run at the $25,000 level at Fair Grounds, and he had faced some better groups there in recent starts. The one to beat with the locals.
#3 Production Time He debuts with a couple of decent-looking works under his belt, and outside of the top pair, he isn't meeting much depth in this one.
Race Summary Full Power would be playable at something like his 7/2 ML offering, and he may still have another step forward in him with just two starts under his belt.

Delta Downs - Race #5
Picks Notes
#9 David's Grace Dropper exits a couple of really dull tries, but he has a right to wake up with this softer group. Something like that December run would play well here.
#1 Oops Wediditagain He has knocked on the door in both career tries at this level, and he's the clear one to beat here. That said, he has been close in both and will be another short price, and maybe he turns into a habitual underneath sort? Worth trying to beat.
#6 Runciman He has had 30 starts, so I can't entertain him on top at all, but the recent running lines look competitive for the underneath spots in this bunch.
Race Summary David's Grace takes a needed drop after a couple of dull tries with MSW company, and he doesn't meet a whole lot in here to worry about.

Delta Downs - Race #10
Picks Notes
#9 Orthodox Beat She's out of excuses after 12 starts, but she's bringing some consistent running lines that should put her right there again with these.
#6 Beautiful Ending The debut was an even sort of effort, but it came with better company, giving her a big chance to wake up with something better while facing this much softer group.
#10 Sweet Perfection She tends to give away ground in the final call, so she's again vulnerable in the final yards, but the overall form is a decent fit. Think she's an underlay.
Race Summary Orthodox Beat is a reliable type, and while she might be earning a reputation as a nibbler, this might be the right group for one of her baseline efforts to do the trick.
