Tuesday NHL Free play. My selection is on Chicago +1.5 goals over Florida at 8:05 pm et on Tuesday.
While the Panthers are undoubtedly the better team in this matchup, having taken four straight meetings in this series already this season, I like the way the spot sets up for the Blackhawks in the front half of a two-game set between the two teams in Chicago on Tuesday. Note that the Blackhawks are a perfect 6-0 when playing at home off three or more consecutive losses over the last two seasons, outscoring opponents by a wide 2.6-goal margin in that situation. They've also gone 11-3 when playing at home after suffering a loss by three or more goals in their last game over the last three seasons, outscoring the opposition by an average margin of 1.3 goals in that situation. Meanwhile, the Panthers are just 14-24 after winning five or six of their last seven games over the last three seasons, outscored by an average margin of 0.8 goals when in that spot. In what has the potential to be a high-scoring game, I'm confident the Blackhawks can stay within a goal for three periods. Take Chicago +1.5 goals (8*).

I'm going to take the Heat as a home dog against the Suns tonight. I think we are getting some really good value here with Miami due to the fact that they come in having lost 3 straight. Couple of those could have went either way, including a OT loss to the Pacers last time out. Heat are still a very strong 11-4 in their last 15 games.
Phoenix has been playing great for a while now, but I think this is a solid spot to fade them. The Suns just finished up a 5-game homestand on Sunday. I could see them coming out a bit flat here and struggling to match the intensity and energy that I think Miami will bring to snap their losing streak.
Phoenix is a mere 2-6 ATS last 8 times they have visited the Heat and Miami is 20-9 ATS in their last 29 vs a team that's won more than 60% of their games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 at home vs a team that's won more than 60% on the road. Give me the Heat +1!

Off three straight losses, the Heat are going to be hungry. They're 9-4-1 ATS (11-3 SU!) the past 14 times that they'd dropped their previous three. Most recently, they snapped a 3-game skid on 2/18, with a 118-110 win at Sacramento. The Heat are 30-14 SU the past 44 times that they were off an "upset" loss. I like the fact that they have tomorrow night off while the Suns play again, at Orlando. They'll be leaving it all on the floor tonight and I like their chances of bouncing back. Consider Miami.

The Golden State Warriors have quietly been a great UNDER team in recent weeks. They have gone 10-3 UNDER in their last 13 games overall including four straight UNDERS coming into this game with the Philadelphia 76ers tonight.
Now the Warriors are even more of an UNDER team with the injury to Steph Curry (29.0 PPG, 6.2 APG), who has missed the past two games and will be sitting out tonight as well. Couple that with the fact that two big men in James Wiseman and Kevon Looney are back in the lineup now from quarantine and that makes them an even bigger UNDER team.
Philadelphia is without leading scorer and MVP candidate Joel Embiid (29.9 PPG) and Seth Curry (12.9 PPG, 43.2% 3-pointers), their best shooter. That makes them an UNDER team as well. We saw that last time out as they were tied with the Knicks 88-88 at the end of regulation for 176 combined points. They were also tied with the Bucks 93-93 at the end of regulation three games back for 186 combined points. I think the fact that both those games went to OT has this total inflated. Bet the UNDER in this game Tuesday.

My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for late action on Tuesday is with the Golden State Warriors plus the points versus the Philadelphia 76ers. Golden State (22-21) had won the first two games on a three-game road trip before losing at Memphis by a 111-103 score as a 6.5-point underdog on Saturday. The Warriors were without Stephen Curry against the Grizzlies — and he will be unavailable tonight with his tailbone injury. Steve Kerr will get back three of his big men with Kevon Looney, James Wiseman, and Eric Paschall have all been cleared to play after being in quarantine. Golden State has covered the point spread in 5 of their last 8 games after playing their last three games on the road. The Warriors have covered the point spread in 4 of their last 5 games at home. Philadelphia has won two straight games as well as eight of their last nine games after their 101-100 win at New York against the Knicks on Sunday. But the 76ers have failed to cover the point spread in 19 of their last 27 games on the road after winning at least two in a row. I trust the Philadelphia 76ers to get the job done as a small road favorite at Golden State Tuesday night.
The Warriors will have to do without several players and both Draymond Green and Steph Curry are questionable. Sure, the Sixers will be without their superstar as well as Joel Embiid (knee) has been ruled out, but they still got some quality players to pick up the slack and veteran Dwight Howard has done well at center.
Lastly, the Sixers have been on fire since the All-Star break, winning six of seven straight-up, only losing to Milwaukee in OT.
Warriors are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games as an underdog. 76ers are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 games overall. 76ers are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings.
