Memphis dialed the offense up on Monday in their 132-126 home overtime win against Boston as they snapped a string of 4 straight Unders.

The Grizzlies last Over prior to the Celtics game came when they played in OKC against the Thunder back on March 14th when the teams landed Over the total by a whopping 26 points to make it a pair of Overs in a pair of season series meetings this season and a 4-2 Over run the last 6 times these Western Conference rivals have faced one another.

Oklahoma City is back home after 4 in a row on the road in which they landed Over the total just once. Atlanta just played Over the total on Monday night in their loss to the L.A. Clippers and I have a feeling game three of this eight game road trip is going to see the Hawks start to show some fatigue which will lead to easy baskets and looser defense being played.

The last play I cut for late action on Wednesday is with the Boston Celtics plus the points versus the Milwaukee Bucks. Boston (21-22) has lost four of their last five games after their 132-126 loss at Memphis as a 4.5-point underdog on Monday. The Celtics have covered the point spread in 8 of their last 10 games after losing four of five. And while Boston covered the point spread once in their last five games, they have then covered the point spread in 18 of their last 26 games after failing to cover the point spread in three of their last four contests. Milwaukee (28-14) has won seven in a row with their 140-113 win against Indiana on Monday. But the Bucks have failed to cover the point spread in 14 of their last 20 games when favored by 3.5 to 9.5 points. And while Milwaukee wants to avenge a 122-121 upset loss at Boston as a 4.5-point favorite on December 30th, they have failed to cover the point spread in 7 of their last 10 games when playing with revenge for an upset loss. His speed figs under similar conditions are tops in this field. A winning percentage like 44 is fantastic for any jock/trainer tandem. After a nice race two starts ago, this horse bounced. Now today, I expect another good performance. Strong average class rating on this horse. Should have the capability to run well on the turf. SOARING BIRD - I like this gelding. Has the top EPS (earnings per start) in this one. Moves back to a distance at which he ran a speed rating good enough to make him a contender today. PP lines show this thoroughbred with three improving Equibase speed figures. Castanon should be on a horse ready to win right here.
