PHILADELPHIA @ WASHINGTON | 04/13 | 7:00 PM EDT
WASHINGTON -160
ANALYSIS: Coming off my worst NHL night of the season as my three home picks all lost outright. Yikes. We'll get it back. This should be the Capitals debut of major trade acquisition Anthony Mantha, acquired from Detroit on Monday. The Flyers, meanwhile, have lost five of seven and continue to get inconsistent goaltender from both Carter Hart and Brian Elliott. This will be their third game in four nights and they have lost six straight in that scenario.

BOSTON @ MINNESOTA | 04/13 | 2:10 PM EDT
MINNESOTA -140
ANALYSIS: We picked this game and same pitching matchup Monday in favor of the Twins, but it was postponed due to the civil unrest happening in the Minneapolis area. Today's game is expected to be played and again will feature a pair of lefties in the Red Sox's Martin Perez and Twins' JA Happ. Lifetime against Minnesota, Perez is 0-3 with a 4.91 ERA in five games (four starts). Minnesota is 2-1 vs. southpaws this year and Boston 2-2. That Monday's game was called off might actually hurt the Sox a bit as they were raking on a six-game winning streak. Hitters don't like days off when rolling.
CINCINNATI @ SAN FRANCISCO | 04/13 | 9:45 PM EDT
CINCINNATI +101
ANALYSIS: After a horrific first start, Reds ace Luis Castillo dominated the Pirates last time out, tossing seven scoreless innings. Look for him to pitch well again at San Francisco, which averages just 3.44 runs per game, seventh-fewest in MLB. Giants starter Kevin Gausman impressed last year and in his first two starts this season, but it should be noted he's 0-3 with a 12.79 ERA alltime versus Cincinnati. (Joey Votto is 4 for 5 against him). Back the 7-3 Reds as underdogs Tuesday night.

L.A. LAKERS +2
ANALYSIS: The Hornets are 2-2 since Gordon Hayward (foot) went down, but their two wins came against an Oklahoma City team that is tanking hard down the stretch and Milwaukee, which rested its entire starting five. Those aren’t exactly two victories to be excited about. The Lakers have had plenty of issues of their own, but with Kyle Kuzma and Andre Drummond back from their respective injuries, their improved depth could help propel them on Tuesday.

MIAMI @ PHOENIX | 04/13 | 10:00 PM EDT
PHOENIX -3
ANALYSIS: There are a lot of stats that don’t favor the Heat in this game. First, the Suns are 19-10 ATS at home. While they did just play Monday, they are 8-4 ATS in the second game of a back-to-back set this season. Finally, the Heat are just 4-10 ATS against teams that have won more than 55 percent of their games. Give me the Suns to cover.

L.A. CLIPPERS @ INDIANA | 04/13 | 7:30 PM EDT
INDIANA +3
ANALYSIS: Indiana has built up some confidence during its recent road trip against mainly lesser opponents. In particular, Indiana was able to overcome a terrible effort on the defensive glass in a win in Memphis Sunday. Look for the Pacers' play to translate back home against a better team. Indiana defeated Memphis Sunday, 132-125. The Pacers overcame allowing a monstrous 88 points in the paint in that game, while scoring 70 in the paint themselves. The Pacers are 9-0 ATS at home coming off a road win in which they were outscored in the paint by at least 10 points.
