ANALYSIS: The Jets lost the first game of this series in Ottawa 4-2, despite going up 2-0 early. The Jets are 5-2 against the Senators this season and 2-1 in Ottawa. The Senators are 4-5-1 in their last 10 games and they are last in the division. I expect the Jets to come out strong and maintain the lead in tonight’s game for the win. They are starting their backup goalie in Laurent Brossoit, but he is a solid 5-3 with a 2.63 GAA this season including a win in Ottawa earlier this season. Expect the Jets to get the split.
