The White Sox host the Indians in Game 2 of a home series Tuesday, and we could be in for a pitcher's duel.
Lucas Giolito will toe the slab for the Sox, and he's coming off a solid performance. Giolito (1-0, 4.22 ERA) allowed three runs on four hits, striking out 10 in 5 1/3 innings in a win at Seattle his last time out. The Indians lineup is batting a combined .169 against Giolito.
The Indians hand the ball to Shane Beiber, who is the reigning Cy Yong winner. He's racked up 24 Ks in a dozen innings so far, but has given up five runs on eight hits and hasn't earned a win.
The Indians are 4-9 in their last 13 road games.

I've been fading the Oklahoma City Thunder with a lot of success because they were without five of their top six scorers for most of this stretch that has seen them go 1-9 SU & 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games overall with six straight blowout losses by double-digits coming in. But now it's time to 'buy low' on the Thunder tonight.
They just got two of those scorers back last time out in Dort (12.6 PPG) and Bazley (12.0 PPG). Now they've had the last two days off to rest up and try and get some chemistry back with these new faces in practice. And you know they will be up for this game against the Utah Jazz tonight, who are in first place in the Western Conference.
You're definitely paying a tax to back the Jazz at this point due to having the best record in the NBA at 40-14 this season. I successfully faded them last night with the Wizards, who won outright as 11.5-point underdogs. And now this is a terrible spot for the Jazz playing the 2nd of a back-to-back, their 5th game in 7 days and their 8th game in 12 days. They will have a hard time getting motivated to face the Thunder, and they could be without both Jordan Clarkson and Mike Conley tonight.
The Thunder are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings. Oklahoma City is 5-0 ATS in its last five trips to Salt Lake City. The Thunder are 31-14 ATS in their last 45 games as road underdogs. Oklahoma City is 25-10 ATS in its last 35 games when revenging a same-season loss. They only lost 109-110 as 9-point dogs in their first and only meeting this season. Bet the Thunder Tuesday.

The Blazers may have a better record, but we think the Celtics are the better team. They have had a disappointing season so far but there are some indications they may be getting things together and making a big push for the postseason. They have won three straight and five of six. They are coming off a dominating win at Denver where they were down much of the game but turned it on big time and played one of their best second halves of the season. We think some of that positive momentum will carry over here. Portland has lost three of four. That was against a tough schedule, but this team is just not getting the job done. We had the Celtics listed as a slight favorite in this one. We think the wrong team is favored.
