ANALYSIS: How on earth are the A's home underdogs on a 10-game winning streak and about to sweep a struggling Twins team down two regulars in shortstop Andrelton Simmons and outfielder Max Kepler? Minnesota also could be without slugger Miguel Sano after he left the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader with a hamstring issue. The Twins do start a very good pitcher in Kenta Maeda (1-1, 3.07), but I'll gladly take Oakland on the runline at -170 while I can get it -- some books have the A's as ML favorites so the +1.5 wouldn't be available -- behind Frankie Montas (2-1, 4.91). He has been excellent the past two times out.
