                  CLEVELAND @ KANSAS CITY | 05/03 | 8:10 PM EDT
                  KANSAS CITY +1.5
ANALYSIS: The Royals will give the ball to 6-foot-6 lefty Daniel Lynch, their top pitching prospect and the No. 24 ranked overall prospect in MLB for his debut in the Show. The 24-year-old has a 2.74 ERA and 26.2 percent strikeout rate over 147 2/3 innings in the minors -- although he has never pitched above Class A. Cleveland starts a very capable pitcher in Aaron Civale (4-0, 2.94), but we like the Royals on the runline at -160 as they have the better overall team right now and are home. The Tribe are 2-5 in their past seven vs. lefties.

                  TORONTO @ MONTREAL | 05/03 | 7:00 PM EDT
                  TORONTO -160
ANALYSIS: After a couple of hiccups, Toronto netminder Jack Campbell (15-2-2, 2.07 GAA) is rolling again. He has won four in a row, allowing just six goals. Montreal, meanwhile, is missing a handful of its best players due to injury, led by goaltender Carey Price. Should the Leafs finish first in the North Division, which it appears will happen, it would be the first time the organization has accomplished a division title since 1999-2000 in the Northeast Division. The Habs are 2-5 in their past seven as home dogs.

                  CHICAGO @ CAROLINA | 05/03 | 7:00 PM EDT
                  CAROLINA -260
ANALYSIS: That's a big number to lay on the Hurricanes but they are still playing for a division title and home-ice advantage in the playoffs, while the Blackhawks have essentially mailed it in on a four-game skid and could be officially eliminated from playoff contention in this game. The goaltender matchup looks like a mismatch between the Canes' Alex Nedeljkovic (14-4-3, 1.89 GAA) and Chicago's Malcolm Subban (6-7-1, 3.03). Carolina has won five of the past six at home in the series.

ANALYSIS: In mid-April, the Mariners and Orioles played a pair of shortened doubleheaders. Each of the four games was tightly contested, with neither team winning by more than two runs. Victory came for Baltimore just once, and that was with RHP Dean Kremer - who starts on Monday - on the mound. Look for the Orioles to continue their strong play on the road, where they are 9-5.

ANALYSIS: Toronto LHP Steven Matz is coming off a rough outing against Washington. However, the Blue Jays are only small underdogs on Monday, thanks to Matz’s 3-0 record and 2.60 ERA on the road. That has posed value on the host Athletics. Expect Oakland to receive a solid outing from RHP Frankie Montas and hand Matz his first road loss. Grab the Athletics.

                              NEW ORLEANS -140
ANALYSIS: I think New Orleans has more talent than Golden State from top to bottom. I actually don't think it's close. When the Pelicans are taking care of the ball and not turning it over, they can beat anyone in the NBA on any given night. When they are turning it over, they can lose to any team on any given night. If the Pelicans can hold Stephen Curry to four or less three-pointers, they will win this game comfortably.

ANALYSIS: I love this Memphis team. I love everything about them. The Grizzlies are unselfish, they are trending in the right direction and I think Ja Morant is going to be an MVP one day. But did anyone see this Knicks team exploding on offense? They are shooting threes at a wildly effective rate. They opened by hitting six of eight against the Rockets on Sunday and kept the momentum going as they absolutely steamrolled Houston. Now I'm getting points against the Grizzlies? I will take all of it.

ANALYSIS: We don't know how the Spurs get it done, but they figure out a way. Gregg Popovich loves this squad and they gave it all they had against the Sixers on Sunday. It's really a telltale sign about this team that they were able to bounce back after blowing a 32-point lead to the Celtics in Boston. Now I'm getting seven points against the Jazz, whose best basketball may be behind them? Take the dog in this spot.

ANALYSIS: The Lakers looked awful against the Raptors on Sunday. Pascal Siakam and Kyle Lowry did whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted. Frank Vogel needs to make a lineup change. Move Kyle Kuzma to the 4 and Anthony Davis to the 5. That needs to be done going forward. It's a bounce-back spot for the Lakers.

ANALYSIS: Been quite a while since I backed the Coyotes in a game, but this means everything to them as they battle St. Louis for the final playoff spot in the West Division. Los Angeles is basically playing out the string. Yotes netminder Darcy Kuemper (9-10-2, 2.55 GAA) blanked the Kings the last time he faced them and has a 1.64 GAA in three outings against his former club this year. The Kings are playing a third game in four nights and are 2-7 in their past nine in that scenario.

                                MILWAUKEE +1.5
ANALYSIS: Be aware there could be some weather issues in Philly. The Brewers are getting back two thirds of their starting outfield from the injured list in former NL MVP Christian Yelich and Lorenzo Cain. It's impressive the Brewers have the record they do without those two for so long. They start Adrian Houser on the mound (2-2, 3.65). He's a lot better than Phillies starter Vince Velasquez (0-0, 6.57). The Phils also will not have Bryce Harper in the lineup (or still Jean Segura), so we'll take the Milwaukee runline at -160.
