I was looking to back the Reds and Tyler Mahle in Sunday's series finale at Cleveland, but the game was postponed. Mahle will instead take the mound in Monday's series opener at Pittsburgh and I like him and the Reds even more in this spot.
Mahle has a 2.93 ERA and 1.109 WHIP in 6 starts. He's even better when he's not having to deal with the ball flying out of the park at Great American Ballpark, as he owns a 1.29 ERA and 1.071 WHIP in 3 road starts. That includes a road start at the Dodgers, where he held LA to just 1 run in 5 innings.
Pittsburgh will counter with Mitch Keller. Not a lot to like here. Keller has a 6.29 ERA and 1.685 WHIP in 6 starts. It's been even worse at home, as he owns a 10.13 ERA and 2.439 WHIP in 3 starts at PNC Park. Keller also owns a 6.92 ERA and 1.692 WHIP in 3 career starts against the Reds. Monday NHL Free play. My selection is on the 'under' between Tampa Bay and Florida at 7:05 pm et on Monday.
The Panthers won in a surprising 5-1 rout against the rival Lightning on Saturday night. I'm anticipating a much tighter affair on Monday night, and that should lend itself to a lower-scoring result as well. Tampa Bay is limping down the stretch and will likely be without Victor Hedman again on Monday (lower-body injury). Note that the Bolts have now scored two goals or less in four of their last five games overall. Here, they'll be focused on tightening things up after allowing exactly five goals in consecutive games. Note that prior to those two contests, Tampa Bay had given up two goals or less in four straight games. The Panthers have scored four goals or more in five straight games but face a bit of a tough spot here with the Lightning having allowed just 2.3 goals per game when playing on the road revenging consecutive losses in which their opponent scored three goals or more over the last two seasons. That situation has produced an 0-6 o/u record with an average total of just 4.6 goals. Also note that Florida averages just 2.4 goals per contest after winning six or seven of its last eight games over the last three seasons. On the flip side, Tampa allows only 2.4 goals per game after losing two of its last three games over the last three seasons, as is the case here. Take the under (8*).Comment

New Orleans has now covered 7 of their last 8. Memphis does trail the Warriors by just a 0.5 game for the 8th spot, but overall this game doesn't mean near as much to them as it does the Pelicans.
