Neither starting pitcher -- the Sox's Martin Perez (0-2, 4.40) or Orioles' Jorge Lopez (1-3, 6.49) -- generates much confidence. Lopez has allowed three ER or fewer in his past four, but he won't be out there more than five innings. Not that the O's need any additional motivation, but no team likes to be swept in a home series and Baltimore tries to avoid that here.
