Trailblazers -15 over Rockets
Portland for the moment is out of the play in game, but they need to win this game tonight because their final 3 opponents are better teams. The Blazers own the tie breaker of the Lakers so tonight is a must win and I just don’t see Houston sticking around in this game. Houston is a bad basketball team that simply won’t be able to keep up when Lillard and McCollum start heating up. Take Portland

BALTIMORE +1.5
ANALYSIS: Not that many enticing matchups on Monday with a short schedule in MLB, but we'll go with the Birds at -130 on the runline at home vs. Boston. Neither starting pitcher -- the Sox's Martin Perez (0-2, 4.40) or Orioles' Jorge Lopez (1-3, 6.49) -- generates much confidence. Lopez has allowed three ER or fewer in his past four, but he won't be out there more than five innings. Not that the O's need any additional motivation, but no team likes to be swept in a home series and Baltimore tries to avoid that here.

PHILADELPHIA -150
ANALYSIS: This game is meaningless for both sides, so we will simply lean the home team with the slightly better goaltender: Brian Elliott of the Flyers over Scott Wedgewood of the Devils. Wedgewood has a 3.57 GAA on the road this year, while Elliott's GAA is 2.77 at home. New Jersey is 2-7 in its past nine away. It's the season finale for both teams.

ANALYSIS: The Jazz enter this contest on a five-game winning streak. All five of those victories came at home, where they are 31-4 this season. They are a less-impressive 19-14 on the road and will be playing this game without both Donovan Mitchell (ankle) and Mike Conley Jr. (hamstring). The Warriors are 19-13 ATS at home and beat Utah by 12 points the last time the Jazz visited them, so don’t be surprised if Golden State wins the rematch, too.

ANALYSIS: No Bradley Beal in this spot doesn't worry me. The Wizards are 15-4 since April 7. They have an opportunity to really make a splash in the playoffs. Russell Westbrook is a lock to get another triple-double here. In the losses during the recent 19-game, 15-win stretch, two were by one point and another was by three points. This is too many points in this spot.
