ANALYSIS: The Reds bats were shut down last night, and understandably so with the Pirates best starter in JT Brubaker on the mound. Today, they get Sonny Gray who is 0-2 with a 3.92 ERA but he is coming off a seven-inning shutout of the red-hot White Sox lineup. Trevor Cahill is 1-4 with a 6.75 ERA this season and he allowed seven runs and two home runs to the Reds the first time he faced them this season. The Reds bullpen is very worrisome, but Gray pitched seven innings last outing and Cahill hasn’t been going deep into games. I like the Reds to win the series here with a price that is an overreaction to the Pirates bats last night.
