ANALYSIS: The Panthers lost a back and forth game on Sunday to the Lightning after being up 2-1 and 4-3. The Lightning got Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov back from injury, Kucherov had two goals and an assist while Stamkos had two assists. However, the Lightning scored three goals on the power play and one goal shorthanded. I don’t think they will have that massive of a special teams advantage tonight, take the Panthers to even the series at home.

ANALYSIS: The Penguins lost Game 1 in OT after having plenty of chances to win the game. Both of these teams are much better at home, and I don’t see the Islanders taking both road games after going 0-4 in Pittsburgh all season. Tristan Jarry looked very rusty, but that’s understandable considering the Penguins had eight days since they played last. The Penguins could even but the boost from adding Evgeni Malkin back to the lineup, but I think they will even this series at one regardless. This line could go up, especially if Malkin is announced to be back in the lineup so I would get it now.

ANALYSIS: Had a 3-0 night Monday to get back above +3000 on this NHL season -- let's keep it going. It's desperation time for the Penguins after losing Game 1 at home 4-3 in overtime to the Isles. That was a surprise only because the Pens were so good at home during the regular season and the Isles not very good away from home. New York had been 0-4 in Pittsburgh in 2021. I highly doubt the Isles steal another one. The Penguins played without Russian star Evgeni Malkin and there's a solid chance he returns Tuesday.
