$2 TUESDAY 5% NBA WINNER Game: (523) Portland Trail Blazers at (524) Denver Nuggets Date/Time: Jun 1 2021 9:05 PM EDT Betting Line Provider: Consensus Line Play Rating: 5% Play: Total Over 226.0 (-110)
The Blazers and Nuggets should play another high-scoring game in this one. Portland has no answer for Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets are similarly stumped considering how outmatched they are on the perimeter. They're simply too small. Ride the over.
Game: (525) Los Angeles Lakers at (526) Phoenix Suns Date/Time: Jun 1 2021 10:05 PM EDT Betting Line Provider: Consensus Line Play Rating: 3 units Play: Phoenix Suns -5.0 (-110)
The Suns had a good chance to win this series before Anthony Davis was injured. With Davis’ status in doubt LA is in a world of trouble. The Lakers were a putrid 32.5% from 3 on Sunday
Game: (929) Los Angeles Angels at (930) San Francisco Giants Date/Time: Jun 1 2021 9:45 PM EDT Betting Line Provider: Consensus Line Play Rating: 4 units Play: San Francisco Giants -165 A Heaney (LHP), A Wood (LHP) Must Start
The Giants just continue to cash tickets for their backers, winning 4 straight and 6 of their last 7 games. They opened this short 2 game series with a 6-1 win over the Angels on Memorial Day. San Fran’s starting pitching has been phenomenal and Alex Wood has certainly done his part. Wood enters with a 2.44 ERA on the season and hadn’t given up more than 2 runs all season long prior to his last start. Andrew Heaney sports an ERA of 5.24 and has had 3 consecutive bad starts. He’s given up 13 combined runs in 3 starts and with the way San Fran is hitting, he’s in for another rough night. Take the Giants.
Line Parameter: 4 units at -165 or lower, 3 units at higher than -165
FEATURED PICK
CHI. WHITE SOX @ CLEVELAND | 06/01 | 6:10 PM EDT
CLEVELAND -151
ANALYSIS: It’s Shane Bieber's day to pitch, which means the Indians are likely to win. Cleveland has won eight of his 11 starts, including both outings against the White Sox - one of which was a three-hit shutout that featured 11 strikeouts. Bieber also has the benefit of having one of the best bullpens in baseball (2.85 ERA, 17 saves, two blown saves) backing him up. Take the Indians to win.

TAMPA BAY @ N.Y. YANKEES | 06/01 | 7:05 PM EDT
UNDER 7.5
ANALYSIS: The Yankees have stayed Under the total in their last five games (losing all five) and also Under in nine of their last 10 because, despite getting decent pitching, the powerful lineup isn’t hitting. They just got swept by the lowly Tigers over the weekend. Tyler Glasnow comes off his best start of the season, allowing no runs through eight innings, striking out 11. I didn’t bet the Rays to win because I respect Domingo German, but I did bet the Under.
