ANALYSIS: Home-court advantage is going to be huge here -- the Blazers are being allowed to increase attendance to 10,000 for Game 6 -- because both teams are surely going to be gassed after their double-OT epic in Game 5. The fans will help fire up the Blazers. One major key is Jusuf Nurkic avoiding foul trouble as he's about the only body the Blazers have to even slightly deal with Nikola Jokic. Portland is plus-54 in Nurkic’s minutes so far this series and minus-57 when he's off the court. Playing at home, the refs should be a bit kinder to him. It's Damian Lillard, though, who forces a Game 7.

The Rangers are 12-8 against left-handers and Colorado is starting southpaw Austin Gomber (3-4, 4.55). The Rox also are without a handful of regulars either for rest in a getaway game or injury (Trevor Story).

ANALYSIS: With Anthony Davis (groin) out, Los Angeles was dismantled by Phoenix, losing Game 5 by 30 points to go down 3-2 in the series. Does Davis return for Game 6 to try and keep the Lakers alive? If he does, there’s a chance that he’s limited, both in terms of playing time and his role in the offense. If he can’t play, then this game also could get out of hand early. Either way, I’ll take the points.

While most of the free world will be backing the Lakers here, I simply³ see it the other way and really like the Suns to close out this series tonight. I just don't see Davis being anything close to being able to dominate/have a big game IF he even plays tonight. His groin injury needs time to heal, period & the Lakers do not have the proper time needed for Davis to be healthy enough to be the kind of dominate factor the Lakers absolutely need him to be to beat this Suns club. I feel very strong that this Suns club will close out this Lakers team w/no Davis or a severely hampered Davis if he does give it a go tonight. The Lakers still have no counter to Ayton for the Suns w/Davis status. I also expect CP3 leadership to get the Suns over the hump here and take care of business on the road. Devin Booker came up huge last game & I expect him to have another outstanding game as CP3 gives him tremendous looks. This Suns club continues to fly under the radar some IMO and they also play very good team defense. I expect a big motivated game from LeBron tonight, but they are going to need "others" to really step up tonight & I just don't see enough from the "others" that's going to be needed to beat these Suns tonight. The bottom line for me here, is that the Lakers really need a healthy Davis to beat these Suns right now & that's just not going to be the case. I fully expect the Suns to come away with a hard fought win tonight & close out the Lakers & end the series tonight.
