I'll take my chances with the OVER 10.5 in Friday's matchup that has the Astros visiting the Twins. I know 10.5 is a big number, but with the way these teams are swinging the bat and the starting pitching matchup we have, I don't think it's asking much for them to combine for 11 or more runs.
Houston may score that on their own. Astros have put up at least 6 runs in each of their last 4, scoring 8 in each of their last two games at Boston. They will be up against Matt Shoemaker, who has a 7.29 ERA and 1.579 WHIP in 11 starts. In his last two outings, he's allowed 14 runs on 12 hits in a mere 4 2/3 innings.
Astros Jose Urquidy has a much better 3.76 ERA in 10 starts, but that jumps up to a 4.79 ERA in 5 road starts. He's also facing a Twins lineup that has scored 5 or more in 5 of their last 7 with 10 or more hits in each of their last 4. Give me the OVER 10.5!
