Game: (955) Milwaukee Brewers at (956) Cincinnati Reds Date/Time: Jun 8 2021 7:10 PM EDT Betting Line Provider: Consensus Line Play Rating: 4 units Play: Milwaukee Brewers +119 A Houser (RHP), S Gray (RHP) Must Start
We’re getting a great underdog price on the Brewers considering how well the team has been playing a who is on the mound Tuesday. Milwaukee has won 4 straight and 9 of their last 10 games, yet they find themselves in the “dog” role against a team that has lost 3 of 5. The Brewers are 20-6 as underdogs this season and will send Adrian Houser to the mound. Houser allowed 1 run on 5 hits his last time out. He’s been extremely consistent, only allowing more than 3 earned runs 1 time this season. Sonny Gray allowed 4 runs in his last start and hasn’t proven that he can be trusted in the “favorite” role. Take the Brewers Tuesday.

Game: (975) San Francisco Giants at (976) Texas Rangers Date/Time: Jun 8 2021 8:05 PM EDT Betting Line Provider: Consensus Line Play Rating: 3 units Play: San Francisco Giants -129 A Wood (LHP), J Lyles (RHP) Must Start
The Giants open up a short 2 game set with Texas having won 7 of their last 9 games. They find themselves as very reasonable chalk considering the Rangers have lost 11 of their past 12. The key to this game is going to be Alex Wood, who has had back to back poor outings. However, prior to his last 2 starts Wood was phenomenal, not allowing more than 2 runs in any of his previous 7 starts. Jordan Lyles isn’t exactly a “bet on” pitcher at the moment. Look for Wood to bounce back against a struggling Texas team on Tuesday. Take the Giants.
Line Parameter: 3 units at -130 or lower, 2 units at higher than -130
