ANALYSIS: Gonna take Under 5.5 goals now in case it drops to 5 before the puck drops Wednesday night in Game 2. We were very fortunate to win on Under 5.5 in Game 1 as Montreal somehow didn't let in the sixth goal of the game despite having pulled Carey Price from the net for more than four minutes of game time late in the Habs' 4-1 loss. I don't see Price allowing four again, and Vegas counterpart Marc-Andre Fleury isn't allowing more than two goals most likely.

Alcantara (4-5, 3.39) has a 2.38 ERA in his past five starts. Oviedo (0-2, 5.72) has gone five full innings just once this season. More than 60 percent of model simulations forecast the Marlins winning. The Cards are 3-13 in their last 16 games vs. a right-handed starter.

Cole Irvin takes the mound with a respectable 3.70 ERA. His last 2 starts have been great, allowing just 1 earned run in 6 innings of work in both outings. Griffin Canning owns an ERA of 5.22 and has been shaky all season. Prior to his last start Canning allowed 4 earned runs in just 3.1 innings.
