CINCINNATI @ SAN DIEGO | 06/17 | 8:40 PM EDT
CINCINNATI +162
ANALYSIS: The Padres just got swept at Colorado and are now six games back in the NL West, sitting in third-place. The Reds have won six straight and pulled within two games of first in the NL Central. After their sweep in Milwaukee, the Reds are now 19-15 on the road. The Reds have won three straight behind Wade Miley, while the Padres have lost their last two behind Joe Musgrove.

CHI. CUBS @ N.Y. METS | 06/17 | 7:10 PM EDT
N.Y. METS -115
ANALYSIS: The Cubs just aren't the same team on the road or against right-handers as they look to avoid the four-game sweep in Queens. The Mets have won 14 of their last 16 games at Citi Field. Chicago has totaled only seven runs in this series and faces New York's Marcus Stroman (6-4, 2.33), who has a 1.74 ERA over his past five and has allowed only 12 extra-base hits in 77.1 innings, the second-fewest among all pitchers in the majors who have thrown at least 70.0 innings this season. Chicago's Kyle Hendricks has a 6.84 ERA in night games this year.

MILWAUKEE @ COLORADO | 06/17 | 8:40 PM EDT
UNDER 10
ANALYSIS: While the wind is blowing out a little, the Brewers have the worst batting average in the majors and have scored just four total runs in their past three games in a park they are familiar with (i.e., their own). Rox starter German Marquez has a solid 3.99 home ERA this season. On the flip side, Brewers Cy Young candidate Brandon Woodruff (5-2, 1.52) is more than capable of blanking the Rockies, even in Denver. None of Woodruff’s six road starts have reached a total of more than six runs this season. Thus, Under 10 runs is the call.

CHI. WHITE SOX @ HOUSTON | 06/17 | 8:10 PM EDT
HOUSTON -125
ANALYSIS: The Pale Hose may be a bit worn down as this is their 10th straight day playing and they used a chunk of their bullpen in Wednesday's 10-inning win over Tampa before flying to Houston. The Sox are 1-5 in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a winning record. The Astros are 5-1 in their past six as favorites and start Jose Urquidy, who has gone 4-1 with a 3.07 ERA in his last seven with 35 strikeouts to just four walks. Houston's .629 winning percentage at home ranks second only in the AL to the White Sox. Yes, the Stros put Alex Bregman on IL today but they still should pull this out.

VEGAS @ MONTREAL | 06/18 | 8:00 PM EDT
UNDER 5.5
ANALYSIS: I'm surprised oddsmakers are opening this total at 5.5 goals. The first two Habs-Knights games opened at 5.5 only to close at 5.0 -- and we won both times on Under 5.5 as both games finished right on five goals. Were we lucky that an empty-net goal wasn't scored in each game? Absolutely, but a win is a win, and we will hit the Under again for Game 3 (before it almost surely drops to 5.0 again) as the series shifts to Montreal on Friday. The Under is 4-1 in Vegas' past five on the road.

CHI. WHITE SOX @ HOUSTON | 06/17 | 8:10 PM EDT
HOUSTON -121
ANALYSIS: The White Sox head to Houston having won six of their last seven games. But they’ve had a home-friendly schedule, as this will mark their first non-divisional road game since May 23. Look for Houston to win its fourth straight contest.

BROOKLYN @ MILWAUKEE | 06/17 | 8:30 PM EDT
BROOKLYN +5.5
ANALYSIS: Throughout the series, pricing has been skewed toward Milwaukee's side. This has been sparked by injuries to key Brooklyn players in James Harden and Kyrie Irving, and now the fact that Kevin Durant played 48 minutes in Game 5. But I expect Harden to look better in Game 6 as the Nets look to finish off the Bucks. Play Brooklyn on Thursday.
