ANALYSIS: I was going to back the Brewers at a big moneyline price behind ace Brandon Woodruff (5-3, 1.94) because the Diamondbacks stink and are without two of their best hitters in Ketel Marte and Eduardo Escobar in this one. However, Milwaukee has chosen to sit a few regulars of its own, including Christian Yelich, against Arizona lefty Caleb Smith (2-2, 3.21), who has allowed two earned runs or fewer in three of his past four. So, now I'll go Under 7.5 runs.

  This is just too many points to give a well-coached, smarty and scrappy, Hawks team that ousted the 76ers in the last round. Milwaukee has gotten by with luck. We have seen the Bucks commit countless mental errors, turning the ball over, getting flustered, and missing crucial shots from the FT line. They are very similar to the 76ers. Look for the sharper, better-coached, and the frustrating Hawks squad to out smart and outclass the 76ers here. Atlanta is 12-3 ATS L15 at Milwaukee, 4-1 ATS L5 on the road, and 10-4 ATS L14 overall. ANALYSIS: I was going to pass on this game, but the Braves just ruled out superstar Ronald Acuna Jr., so that alone is worth a lean on the Mets when the pitching matchup isn't totally one-sided against New York -- which it isn't. Acuna is hitting .285 with 20 homers, 45 RBIs and 15 steals. The pitchers are Kyle Wright (0-0, 4.15) for the Braves and Tylor Megill in his big-league debut for New York. Megill, an eighth-round pick in 2018, has a 3.06 ERA in Double-A and Triple-A this year with 53 strikeouts in 35.1 innings. Wright has a career 6.09 ERA in the majors through 20 appearances.

ANALYSIS: The Yankees burned me yesterday on a runline bet behind Gerrit Cole as the Royals were 6-5 upset winners. I'm going back to the Bombers here but on the moneyline. They will have red-hot catcher Gary Sanchez in the lineup after he sat Monday because Cole has his own catcher. Kansas City appears to have the starting pitching edge with Danny Duffy (4-3, 1.94), but the lefty is coming off the injured list after missing nearly six weeks and didn't even make a rehab start, so he can't possibly be out there too long. He also has a 5.00 career ERA vs. New York. Yanks starter Michael King (0-3, 4.08) simply needs to keep it close through five innings or so and then New York can pounce on the KC bullpen. Weird stat: NYY has won seven straight Wednesday games.

ANALYSIS: Both teams are coming off grueling seven-game series. Atlanta pulled off an upset over Philadelphia, while Millwaukee took advantage of Brooklyn's injury problems to advance. The Bucks clearly are the better of the two teams, and the Hawks are dealing with a key injury to Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee), who is listed as a game-time decision for Game 1. Still, this is a big line for a Hawks team that showed plenty of fight in the previous round. I think the Bucks win, but I’ll still take the points.
