FEATURED PICK
MILWAUKEE @ N.Y. METS | 07/06 | 7:10 PM EDT
N.Y. METS -1.5
ANALYSIS: Jacob deGrom is back on the mound for the Mets, and there's just not great value on New York to win at -260. At -115 on the runline, it's worth it. DeGrom has not allowed more than three earned runs in his last 30 starts, dating back to September 9, 2019, going 14-4 in that span with a 1.39 ERA. The Brewers are hitting just .220 as a team this season -- two total runs in past two games -- and start mediocre Brett Anderson on the mound. He's 1-4 with a 6.23 ERA on the road.

CHI. WHITE SOX @ MINNESOTA | 07/06 | 8:10 PM EDT
UNDER 8
ANALYSIS: There's a chance this could be affected by rain a bit, but it should be played. The wind is blowing in some at Target Field. That's one reason to back the Under, but more because of two very good pitchers in Chicago's Carlos Rodon (6-3, 2.37) and Minnesota's Jose Berrios (7-2, 3.52). Rodon, a first-time All-Star, has a 1.71 road ERA. Each team is down at least one key bat -- Yasmani Grandal and Tim Anderson for Chicago and Josh Donaldson for Minnesota.

CINCINNATI @ KANSAS CITY | 07/06 | 8:10 PM EDT
CINCINNATI -153
ANALYSIS: The Reds add the designated hitter in the AL park again, and that's Nick Castellanos tonight. Cincinnati starting pitcher Luis Castillo (3-10, 5.08) has turned his season around by allowing three earned or fewer in seven straight outings. He has thrown consecutive 33.0 innings without allowing a home run, tied for the 11th-longest active streak in the majors. The Reds won five straight overall, nine of their past 13 and 10 of their previous 15 away. Kansas City start Kris Bubic is 1-4 with a 9.53 ERA in his past seven outings (four starts) with 11 homers allowed in just 22.2 innings. K.C. has lost 11 of 13.

OAKLAND @ HOUSTON | 07/06 | 8:10 PM EDT
HOUSTON -145
ANALYSIS: Oakland is without two regulars in Mark Canha and Mitch Moreland, both on the injured list. The All-Star break can't get here fast enough for the A's as they have dropped 10 of 15 and are struggling on offense. That likely means trouble against Houston's Framber Valdez (5-1, 2.18). The Astros just swept four over the weekend in Cleveland. They face All-Star Chris Bassitt (9-2, 3.04). His ERA is about a run higher on the road this year. The Astros are 12-4 in their last 16 games vs. a right-handed starter.

OAKLAND @ HOUSTON | 07/06 | 8:10 PM EDT
HOUSTON -153
ANALYSIS: Framber Valdez has been very good for the Astros having not allowed more than three runs in a start all season while pitching at least six innings in every start but his first off the IL. Chris Bassitt has been very good this season too but he did struggle in his only start against the Astros this season. The Athletics have won four games in a row and they are 39-19 against teams over .500 this season. The Astros have won seven of 10 games against the Athletics this season.

ST. LOUIS @ SAN FRANCISCO | 07/06 | 9:45 PM EDT
SAN FRANCISCO -135
ANALYSIS: Johnny Cueto has been much better at home this season going 5-2 with a 2.81 ERA in seven starts while Adam Wainwright is significantly worse on the road going 2-2 with a 5.35 ERA. The Cardinals are 19-26 on the road this season while the Giants are 26-12 at home. The Cardinals took Game 1 of this series late in the game yesterday after Kevin Gausman had a no-hitter going through seven innings. Take the Giants at home.

PHILADELPHIA @ CHI. CUBS | 07/06 | 8:05 PM EDT
OVER 10
ANALYSIS: Honestly, I have no idea who is going to win this game even with the Cubs on a 10 game losing streak. However, both these bullpens have been miserable lately and Jake Arrieta is facing Aaron Nola tonight. Aaron Nola has been quite the conundrum this season but he is worse on the road with a 5.32 ERA and he had a 6.0 ERA in June. Jake Arrieta has a 5.57 ERA on the season but he had a 8.31 ERA in June. Both these lineups are healthy and deep again with the Cubs returning Nico Hoerner and the Phillies returning Didi Gregorius recently. Take the Over.

N.Y. YANKEES @ SEATTLE | 07/06 | 10:10 PM EDT
SEATTLE +150
ANALYSIS: Jameson Taillon has struggled this season but especially away from home where he is 0-3 with a 11.12 ERA in five starts. Justus Sheffield has struggled this season but he is slightly better at home and you know he will be fired up to face the team that traded him away. The Yankees are just 14th in the league in wOBA against lefties and they are 8-10 on the road against lefty starters. The Mariners are 26-17 at home while the Yankees have lost seven of their last 10. Take the value in the dog.
