They are certainly overmatched in this group and with Japan wanting to get a win here ahead of some tougher games we look for Japan to coast in this fixture.

The 39 year old Lopez who was a finalist here in 2016 survived a scare in the first round against a Huesler who was ranked 162nd and had to forfeit with a toe injury in a match he could have won. Now Lopez has to battle 22 year old Ymer who has looked impressive this year in some of the Majors and who at 22 will run him around the court. Lopez has the experience having played here through the the years. However Ymer is playing better this year and should get the win here

He's surrendered a whopping nine home runs in his last three appearances. The Tigers hand the ball to Tyler Alexander, who has spent the majority of the season in the bullpen. ANALYSIS: Been cashing all week on Detroit in this series and see no reason why the Tigers won't complete the four-game sweep and win their seventh straight overall and ninth in a row at home. Texas has lost eight in a row, all by at least two runs, and is the only winless team since the break. And it starts one of the worst pitchers in the AL in Mike Foltynewicz (2-9, 5.91). He only gave up 10 runs over 1.2 innings last time out AND will be on short rest, meaning he probably won't be out there long. He may not be out there long simply as he's not good. It almost doesn't matter which pitcher Detroit is starting (Tyler Alexander). He won't be out there long, either, with a season high of 3.1 innings pitched.
