ANALYSIS: Oakland is not only winning games but doing so by overcoming adversity, having won four straight where the opponent led. Look for the A's to keep things going in this getaway game. They turn to Chris Bassitt after having won his last two starts. The Athletics are 10-0 since May 27, 2019, when Bassitt starts as a favorite of at least -140 when they won in his last two starts. Bassitt has been really good pitching in day contests as the A's are 8-0 since May 16, 2019, when he starts as a favorite in an afternoon matchup.

ANALYSIS: I was waiting for lineups to drop for this one, a highly recommended practice on Thursdays due to it being a travel day, and with Bryan Reynolds sitting for the Pirates, this is a good price to continue to fade a bad team. Pittsburgh is 2-8 ATS in its last 10 and has scored seven runs in its last five. RHP J.T. Brubaker looked shaky in his last start and has allowed a .911 OPS in his four career starts against the Cardinals. The Pirates are facing LHP Wade Leblanc and are the worst team by weighted runs created plus (wRC+) against left-handers this year. When the underdog, Pittsburgh has lost by more than one run in 60 of 69 defeats. There's a good chance to get a win by multiple runs here. Take St. Louis -1.5 at +120.
