304639) LG Twins at (304640) KT Wiz Suwon
Game: (304639) LG Twins at (304640) KT Wiz Suwon
    Date/Time: Aug 19 2021 5:30 AM EDT
    Betting Line Provider: Pinnacle
    Play Rating: 2%
    Play: KT Wiz Suwon -118

So Hyeong Jun is an excellent SP who has has only one clunker start all season. He is backed by a good bullpen and great lineup. LG has a decent SP but KT's lineup advantage is the reason I am going with KT here. My numbers give them a 57% chance to win that is worth a 2% play on -130 or better.

(304637) NC Dinos at (304638) SSG Landers
Game: (304637) NC Dinos at (304638) SSG Landers
    Date/Time: Aug 19 2021 5:30 AM EDT
    Betting Line Provider: Consensus Line
    Play Rating: 1%
    Play: 1H NC Dinos +115

Sam Gaviglio has been an absolute disaster with an 8+ ERA and 1.81 WHIP in three starts. NC has the lineup, bullpen and SP advantage here. This number is fishy so I will make this 1% play. I have been burned by bullpens too much lately so I am making this a 1st5 money line play but you can make it a full game, the odds are the same.

(304633) Samsung Lions at (304634) Hanwha Eagles
Game: (304633) Samsung Lions at (304634) Hanwha Eagles
    Date/Time: Aug 19 2021 5:30 AM EDT
    Betting Line Provider: William Hill
    Play Rating: 1%
    Play: 1H Samsung Lions -0.5 (-150)

The juice is a bit steep but David Buchanan is 2-0 without surrendering a run vs Hanwha this season. His counterpart Kim Ki joong is a relief pitcher who has not gone past 3 innings and allowed 2 runs in 2 innings when he faced Samsung before. Take Samsung on the run line -1 or -0.5 in the first 5. You can find it between 145 and 170.

(304105) Seibu Lions at (304106) Chiba Lotte Marines
Game: (304105) Seibu Lions at (304106) Chiba Lotte Marines
    Date/Time: Aug 19 2021 4:45 AM EDT
    Betting Line Provider: Pinnacle
    Play Rating: 3%
    Play: Chiba Lotte Marines -120

The Marines have a huge bullpen advantage in this one and Seibu SP Honda is awful. He is followed by the worst bullpen in Japan and Lotte is battling for first place in the division at home, I see them taking this one. Lotte SP Suzuki has a 1.00 WHIP and 12.0 K/9 rate vs Seibu. My numbers say bet Lotte anything -145 or better. Take them on the money line.

        PHILADELPHIA @ ARIZONA | 08/19 | 3:40 PM EDT
        UNDER 8.5
ANALYSIS: Going to jump this one early as a few books have already seen the total drop to 8 and that half-run could easily be the difference. It's Cy Young favorite Zack Wheeler on the mound for the Phils, and he loves pitching during the day (1.43 ERA). Arizona's Madison Bumgarner has been one of the NL's best pitchers since the All-Star break. Educated guess: Phils All-Star catcher JT Realmuto (and maybe another regular) sits out this getaway game ahead of a big series in San Diego.

        L.A. ANGELS @ DETROIT | 08/19 | 1:10 PM EDT
        DETROIT +1.5
ANALYSIS: Even at a big price of -160, going to take Tigers +1.5 runline as a safety net (they probably win outright) only as I believe they will be -1.5 by the morning because the Angels scratched starting pitcher Patrick Sandoval, who has been quite good. He's headed to the injured list. In his place will be lefty Jose Quintana (0-3, 6.12). He has been decent as a reliever this year but awful starting (7.22 ERA). The Tigers are five games over .500 vs. southpaws -- have won their past four -- and their rookie pitcher, Matt Manning, has been much better at home.
