The Sox are really tough. So, is Giolito. The Jays are desperate though and Ray is in outstanding current form. In fact, he's got a 1.29 ERA and 0.714 WHIP his past three starts. Last time out, he allowed one run through eight complete innings. He struck out 11 without walking a batter. Dominant. Note that Ray has only allowed one HR in his past five starts combined. On the other hand, Giolito has served up long balls in four consecutive starts; six of them in that 4-game, 23-inning span. Giolito has a 3.77 ERA in 13 road starts. Ray has a 2.64 ERA in 12 "home" starts. Consider Toronto

I'll gladly take my chances with the UNDER 8 in Wednesday's NL Central showdown between the Reds and Brewers. I just feel like 8 is way too big a total for this specific matchup. Milwaukee will have Brandon Woodruff on the mound, while Cincinnati turns to Luis Castillo.
Woodruff has been overshadowed some by Burnes, but he's still been outstanding in 2021. He's got a 2.48 ERA and 0.936 WHIP in 24 starts. He's also been at his best at home, where he owns a 2.26 ERA and 0.990 WHIP in 11 starts. Woodruff has also faired really well against the Reds this season. He's faced them twice and given up just 2 ER in 11 2/3 innings of work.
The numbers aren't great for Castillo, but I really like him in this spot. He's stacked back-to-back strong outings together. He held the Phillies to just 3 runs in 6 2/3 innings and then gave up just 1 run over 7 innings at home against the Marlins. Castillo has also owned the Brewers of late. In his last 3 starts against them this season, he's given up just 1 ER in 18 1/3 innings of work. Give me the UNDER 8!
