ANALYSIS: Carlos Rodon returns from the IL to make this start and he is 6-2 with a 2.21 ERA on the road this season. He allowed one run in five innings against the Blue Jays earlier this season. Hyun Jin Ryu has been very up and down and he allowed three runs in six innings in his start against the White Sox earlier this season. Both these teams hit lefties well, but the White Sox should like the adjustment to a soft throwing lefty after being dominated by Robbie Ray yesterday. The White Sox top bullpen guys are well rested while the Blue Jays top pitchers would be pitching in their third game in four days if they pitched today. Tim Anderson is back in the lineup, take the White Sox to split the series.

ANALYSIS: The White Sox get Cy Young candidate Carlos Rodon back from the injured list and he's supposedly ready to go a normal length -- but even if not, the Sox's top three relievers, Michael Kopech, Craig Kimbrel and Liam Hendriks, are all available. The Jays' Hyun Jin Ryu has been rather hit or miss in his past handful of starts. Toronto also is starting a bit of a watered-down lineup after its Big 4 (Alejandro Kirk at DH?).
