Last year saw the Irish take a 42-26 decision and back in 2018 the Irish won it 42-13, both wins coming in South Bend and both games playing Over the posted price.

My guess is the defense will be a little bit ahead of the still-learning offenses and this will be a game that holds just a few points shy of landing over the total.

This filly likes to be near the lead. Today's event is a shorter distance and should increase her chances to win. I just may give this one a chance. Should improve off last race where she did run outside the top 3, but was within five lengths at the wire. LADYBELUCKY - Utilizing this jockey/handler combination is a good decision. Beschizza is right back for another affair today after sitting atop this equine for the first try on Aug 1st and ought to know the ropes to this one a little better. Kenneally drops this one in today for only her 2nd effort. Should do better than last out.

With Dominguez in the saddle guiding her, this filly will most likely be able to break out early in this contest. With a respectable 80 speed fig last time out, will unquestionably be a factor in this competition. WALL STREETE - Lately Valenzuela has been hot which may give the edge to this colt. Could best this group based on the Equibase Speed Figure - 89 - of his last outing. EAGLE ASSAULT - He has been racing very well lately while recording solid Equibase speed figs. Has respectable front speed and will most likely fare soundly against this group of horses.
