Presque Isle Downs - Race #5

#3 Leonard's Legacy	He has stopped pretty badly in both career starts, but he looks like he's quick enough to control the pace today, and maybe establishing a clear lead for the first time makes him a bit braver in the lane.
#6 Commodore Barry	Tough to love on top as he makes his 17th career start, but he owns pretty reliable sprint form that seems good enough to land a share of this. Standing against on principle.
#9 McQueen's Bullitt	He woke up going long last time out, but his two career sprint efforts weren't much to write home about, and he would feel like an underlay to me at anything like the 9/5 ML price.
Race Summary	Leonard's Legacy needs better than he has shown, but he might be fast enough to control this race with a little bit of confidence into the turn. Third start brings out something better?

Presque Isle Downs - Race #6

#6 Sophie's Angel	She might get a decent setup with a few forward players signed on in here, and she almost always shows up with an honest effort. Look for her late.
#3 Riverside Walk	Tough to argue with the recent form that produced a couple of wins by a combined 14+ lengths, but she's probably got a little bit of company in the early going here.
#5 Suzie'ssteppinout	Finisher handled the top choice pretty easily last time out, but she doesn't always back up her good efforts, so I wouldn't be too excited to jump on here.
Race Summary	Sophie's Angel might be the right one while drawing outside of a few potential pace players, and a modest try last time out might inflate the price a little bit.

Presque Isle Downs - Race #7

#4 Midnight Bella	She's quick enough to keep the leaders in her sights out of the gate, but her ability to sit and finish a little bit should work in her favor in a race where many of them may be stopping late.
#6 Stop War	She can be tough here after a fading Saratoga try with better, but she doesn't own a ton of finishing ability and could be vulnerable late.
#8 Lady Laura	Her form isn't anything fancy, but she has carried it with some success to six tracks in the last 18 months, and she might take to the new footing here.
Race Summary	Midnight Bella ran a good one with similar last time out, and she might offer a playable enough price with a decent race flow waiting for her.

Race Summary	Unbridled Victor will have a scorching pace in front of him and can benefit from stalking inside; one to hold off.

Indiana Grand - Race #6

#4 Downdelane	Made a premature move to the lead and settled for second last out and has been solid in two-turn races on dirt; has the goods to prevail.
#3 Myers Tiger	Held second after losing the lead last out; has steps up the class ladder and fits with these.
#8 Bertie the Beauty	Did very little on turf last time and can get back to good form as she returns to the main track, where she broke her maiden two back.

World Cup Qualifying
You probably don't know much about this Montenegro team and that's OK, all you need to know is they are a far superior side to Latvia. While their World Cup Qualifying record doesn't look that much more impressive than Latvia, with a 2-1-2 record and -1 goal differential compared to Latvia at 1-1-3 with a -3 goal differential a better way to judge them is playing against more similar competition.
In these qualifiers, the Top 3 teams, Netherlands, Turkey and Norway are all far superior so the results are going to look very similar, but if we go back a little further to the Nations League it's a clearer picture.
Montenegro dominated their League C group going 4-1-1 with a 10:2 goal differential and will now be promoted into the same group as Russia, Finland, Scotland, Serbia and Romania, all solid 2nd tier teams.
Meanwhile Latvia finished 2nd worst in their League D group, unable to beat the likes of lowly Faroe Islands and Malta. The only nation they were able to beat up on was poor Andorra.
These two teams did already play in this qualifying group as well with Montenegro winning 2-1 on the road back in March. They dominated the shots in that game putting up 27 shots compared to just 12 for Latvia and also generated 2.86 xG while still allowing 1.90 xGA.
Even though Montenegro is the better team, that last match proves that you still can't trust them to lay more than a goal. So instead of laying the current -1.25 handicap, I'll just go with them to win and pair that with OVER 1.5 Goals for a PARLAY price of just -135.
