ANALYSIS: My model says the Reds win in over 60 percent of the simulations, so you're getting strong value with them at this number. Cincinnati is 9-1 against Pittsburgh this year and has won 13 of the last 14 meetings dating back to last season. The Reds swept a four-game home series against the Pirates last month, outscoring them 31-9 in the process. Cincinnati LHP Wade Miley won both of his starts versus Pittsburgh earlier this year, scattering eight hits over 13 scoreless innings. Expect Miley and Reds to cruise again. 9-1 this year, won last 5

ANALYSIS: The Twins just played an extra inning game yesterday in New York and now they fly home to play a doubleheader the next day. Neither of these teams have been scoring much lately so I think whoever scores first will end up winning this game with these two starters. Triston McKenzie has been a stud the second half of this season and he is coming off 1 ER allowed in 6 IP against the Twins. Joe Ryan will be making just his third career start and he just pitched 7 shutout against the Indians. However, he is still a rookie and facing a Major League team back to back times usually favors the hitters. I will take the Indians at plus money behind their best pitcher right now.

ANALYSIS: The books keep putting a premium on the Padres because of their name, and I am not sure why. They are now 14-22 since the trade deadline including 5-13 on the road, and they start Jake Arrieta tonight. He hasn’t pitched in a month and most likely won’t go too deep, but he also allowed 6 ER in 2 IP against the Giants earlier this season. Anthony Desclafani has been pitching well lately and he pitched at least five innings allowing 3 runs or fewer in all three of his starts against the Padres this season. This line should be around -200, take the Giants at home.
