Presque Isle Downs - Race #5

#4 Richiesgotgame	His three synthetic surface tries at Arlington were all really sharp, and he'll offer a decent number while stepping into this stakes spot. Tactical type might like it here.
#5 Talk or Listen	He has a little bit of class to him and looks like the one to beat, but he has been settling for underneath slices with better and might be a bit overbet with this group.
#1 Hemp Hemp Hooray	Finisher doesn't seem overmatched with these and has landed a couple of shares with stakes company in some recent starts. Might be too late for top honors.
Race Summary	Richiesgotgame ran a trio of big races over the synthetic footing at Arlington, and the price should be right to see if he can handle the step up here after a modest turf try last out.

Presque Isle Downs - Race #6

#9 Youmustbea Weasley	He has gone mostly evenly in his first two starts, but he draws well to track the splits today while coming down in class off that stakes try last time out. Interesting at a mid-range price.
#4 Bali Beach	He took a nice step forward when getting over the local footing for the first time, and his pace will keep him in the mix throughout for top connections.
#8 Boitano	He'll debut in what doesn't feel like the deepest spot, and this jockey/trainer team has done some good work over the last few months together. Get a look at him on the track.
Race Summary	Youmustbea Weasley might be able to take another step forward here in this third start, and he should appreciate the move out of stakes company after turning in a fourth-place effort with that tougher bunch.

Presque Isle Downs - Race #7

#7 Richiesgotgame	Think this guy has a chance with stakes company earlier in the card, so I like him here as well if they decide to go in this spot. Trip should be there for him.
#5 What's Up Dude	He hasn't been finishing the deal in recent starts, and it has now been some time since he won a race. Tactical and capable, but maybe overbet.
#8 Summer Assault	He's another who is cross entered in that stakes try earlier on the card, and he's a good fit with this bunch if they decide to go here. He doesn't always run back to big efforts, so I wonder if he's sitting on a step back today.
Race Summary	Richiesgotgame and What's Up Dude both go for a capable team, but the former might be a bit better suited to this two-turn mile trip after racing around one turn in Chicago this summer.

#4 Complex Justice	Is in the mix more times than not and can score with a well-timed move from just off the pace.
#3 Orient Magic	Is back to Indiana Grand and Indiana-breds after three claiming attempts vs. open company at Ellis Park; was second in his most recent start and can be a factor from the beginning of this one.
#2 Sudden Shift	Set the pace and held third vs. similar last out; can be a factor from an inside post.
Race Summary	Complex Justice has enough speed to secure a close-up trip and can finish well vs. these.

Indiana Grand - Race #3

#4 Bizerk	Was third last time when he was going for his third straight win; solid player on the front end and can wire this group.
#1 Mystery Unbridled	Has been running vs. much better and can be a forward factor; can improve here.
#6 Bold Prophet	Tired last out but was second two races back at Belterra; has won over this course and can be effective at this level.
Race Summary	Bizerk loves it on the front end, gets a great opportunity here and will be the one to catch.

Indiana Grand - Race #7

#1 Cielo Blu	Tracked a slow pace and just missed going long; returns to a sprint and can finish full of run.
#3 Manuelito	Ran evenly last out and gets an additional half-furlong, which should help; usually finishes with energy and fits in this one.
#4 Deuteronomystrong	Ran a decent there last out in his first attempt vs. winners; broke his maiden in a closing manner two races back.
Race Summary	Cielu Blu turns back in distance and has the ability to make a strong late move.

They came down to earth at home against an injury-ridden San Fransisco. They paid a bigger price than a loss though, they lost 2 key starters also. The Eagles simply don't have much depth. Dallas was gifted their game against the Chargers Sunday, but we saw one thing that was smart. The Cowboys realize their defense doesn't belong on the field, because bad things happen to them. They are using both backs equally while spreading out their offense in more time-controlled drives. There is optimism in Dallas as they hopefully get healthier this week. I haven't bet on this game yet, but I'm looking at this closely, just in case the line drops below the 4. (Dallas -4 is the Free play)

Monday Night football features a fantastic matchup with the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Philadelphia Eagles in a heated NFC East showdown. The Eagles started the season off hot, winning and covering in easy fashion vs the Atlanta Falcons. However, we equate that to more of a negative outlook on the dirty birds, than a positive on the Eagles. It came to light a bit last week when the Eagles lost to the 49ers in a lackluster game where their offense was suspect to say the least, only entering the redzone twice the whole game. The home Cowboys find themselves 1-1, but more importantly 2-0 against the spread. Staying within the number almost wire to wire in a competitive road loss to the defending champions who returned all 22 starters from that Super Bowl champion Bucs squad. The Cowboys looked underrated again on the road last week and won outright as 3 point pups to the Bolts. We get the better and more accurate QB which points towards the 3rd down conversion rate being one of the reasons the Cowboys control tempo and possession (DAL 55%, PHI 44% YTD). Take the home Cowboys at the discount price.

The Detroit Tigers continue to play for pride as they are 10-5 in their last 15 games overall despite being an underdog in every single game. They have been one of the most profitable teams to back in all of baseball this season, and they are 42-38 (+16 Units) at home.
Matt Manning is 3-2 with a 4.37 ERA in nine home starts this season, and the Tigers have gone 6-3 (+6.1 Units) in those nine starts. He is 1-0 with a 3.21 ERA in his last three starts coming in.

To his credit, he's kept the damage down. At least, for the past couple of games. Still, he's very hittable right now. Actually, with a 5.78 ERA and 1.637 WHIP on the road, he's been "very hittable" all season. Here, he'll face the Tigers for the second time in less than a week. They just had 11 hits against him in five innings. Manning will also be facing today's opponent for the second straight time. He's 4-6 with an ugly 5.73 ERA through 16 starts.
