I was on the under last week in Wolfsburg's game against Hoffenheim, and even though you shouldn't let one game sway your opinion, I watched that whole game and I was NOT impressed with what I saw. Wolfsburg opened the season with four-straight wins, but things have cooled down dramatically. They were out-shot 17-2 on Match Day 1 against Lille and didn't put a single shot on target. That four-win start to the season appears to be a product of playing some really poor opposition.
Sevilla will be a big step up in class for the German side. Sevilla is unbeaten so far this season, picking up four wins and three draws. Sevilla has so much experience in this European competition over the last decade. They won the Europa League in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2020. They advanced to the Champions League quarterfinals in 2018. Julen Lopetegui has experience guiding Real Madrid and the Spanish National Team. They are a squad built for this competition. Sevilla has not lost in their last seven European road matches, and that includes trips to Dortmund, Chelsea and Bayern Munich. Those atmospheres are a lot more intimidating than the one Sevilla will see this afternoon.
At the time of posting, Sevilla draw-no-bet is available at Pinnacle (-119); Barstool (-121); Circa (-122) and FanDuel (-124). If this game ends in a draw, we get our money back. If you're feeling a little adventurous, take a shot at the 1-0 Sevilla correct score market.
