Presque Isle Downs - Race #5

#1 Hidden Springs	She made a decent little move before flattening in the debut run, but that came with stakes company and she's in with maiden friends for the first time here. The pedigree is there to get around two turns.
#8 Way of Life	She never really picked up when running long at Woodbine, but she also got zero pace help that day. The addition of blinkers might be enough to keep her in touch a bit better today.
#5 Mirth 'n Merriment	She has run evenly in all four lifetime starts, but maybe that will translate well while stretching around two turns. A more leisurely tempo allows her to show something better?
Race Summary	Hidden Springs goes for an 0-for-30 barn at the meet, but this one showed a touch of ability in the debut run and should land a great trip from the rail draw.

Presque Isle Downs - Race #6

#6 Grounded	He has some appeal at what might be a playable enough price, and he should get a perfect spying trip from here. Something like the 4/1 ML price would feel fair.
#4 Comedy Town	He has shown some versatility in running style, and he has run well against some pretty stout groups in recent starts at Woodbine. The slight one to beat.
#7 American Union	He's another in with a chance while shedding the blinkers after a forgettable Kentucky Downs effort, and both of his local starts produced sharp, pressing scores.
Race Summary	Grounded gets the mild edge in a race where any of the top three seem capable, and he has a little bit of bounce-back potential after a slightly flat race for him.

Presque Isle Downs - Race #7

#2 Battle Bling	Not certain we're getting anything like the 4/1 ML offering, but she's a really good fit with these and ran well in her only try over synthetic footing. Capable.
#3 Vip Nation	Her two-turn form is pretty solid, but it feels like she's probably going to be overbet with this group while making her synthetic debut. In with a chance.
#1 Midnight Bella	She has done good work here and fits well with this group, but she will probably find one or two of these a bit too tough today unless the new team moves her up several lengths.
Race Summary	Battle Bling has held form since being claimed, and she's probably going to land a perfect, first-over trip with these. She'll get bet here, but she's probably tough.

Race Summary	As Always rallied to win under the same conditions two starts back at the Meadowlands, then led until the stretch in a faster-paced follow-up try as the favorite. He was Buter's choice on a double call and the top pick in here. Play 5-4 and 5-6 exactas

#6 ELLASEN	Impressed two back, repeat foiled from outside post in latest.
#7 ANURKA	Took serious money, ranged up but couldn't stay with front-end winner.
#3 SOMETHING REEL	Won three straight in August, post 9 hurt chances last week.
Race Summary	Ellasen advanced first-over into solid middle fractions from post 8 and flattened out in her repeat bid. She changed tactics and led most of the way in a visually impressive score two starts ago. Stick with her one more time with a win and place wager.

Dayton Raceway - Race #1

#3 MEDOLAND SCARLET	Early stretch mishap proved costly, can make amends.
#8 MUSKOGEE	Battled hard up front against top one but moves inside out.
#4 FOUND MY ROCK	Rallied first-over for minor share in last two starts.
Race Summary	Medoland Scarlet sat a perfect trip off cover, tipped 3-wide for the stretch drive but bumped wheels with the rival inside of her, losing all chance as the favorite. She faces similar foes today and deserves another chance. Play 3-4 and 3-8 exactas.

#1 Dirty Justice	Can get a good stalking trip inside the speed and a ground-saving run can get him to the winner's circle.

#7 Ferdan	Dug in and actually drew clear late for a maiden win last out; has been the pacesetter in all three starts.
Race Summary	Dirty Justice can track the leaders from not far away and can slip through and finished well.

Indiana Grand - Race #2

#7 Sturgill	Ran on for second at this level in his first since two unsuccessful starts at Arlington; has won over this strip and has been competitive vs. good company.
#1 Who Took the Money	Was close up and then lacked punch in his last two at Churchill, which were at two turns; could benefit from turning back to a sprint.
#4 A Few too Many	Was up in time in his latest and moves over from Indiana-bred company; has won four of eight here and is a threat to run into the exotics vs. open company.
Race Summary	Sturgill ran well in his return to Indiana Grand and can improve off that effort.

#1 Timeless Rose	Closed with a run and finished well in a stakes race for Indiana-breds; has competitive well vs. open company and can put up a fight vs. these rivals.
#3 Mrs Claus	Has only three starts and was third in the Indiana Grand Stakes last out; can made a solid run and will be a late factor.

FROSTED INDIAN - The average class figure alone makes this one a key contender. Win percentage with this jockey and handler combo - 21 percent - solid.
