The Chicago Bulls are loaded this season. They traded for Nikola Vucevic last year to pair him with Zach LaVine. They signed DeMar Derozan and Lonzo Ball in the offseason. Patrick Williams will take a big step forward this year as well.
No team was more impressive than the Bulls in the preseason. They went 4-0 and scored 118 points per game while holding opponents to 96.5 points per game. Their +21.5 PPG differential was the second-best mark of any team in the preseason.
The Detroit Pistons are in rebuilding mode. They did land the No. 1 pick in Cade Cunningham, but unfortunately Cunningham will miss this game with an ankle injury. Jerami Grant is coming off a breakout season, but there's not much talent on this team outside of those two. Bet the Bulls Wednesday.

This should be an intense opening game between two long-time division rivals. Tom Thibodeau transformed the Knicks into being the top defensive team in the NBA last season. New York gave up a league-low 104.7 points a game. There's a good chance center Mitchell Robinson will be healthy enough to play for the Knicks. That would be an added plus for the Under as Robinson is an excellent shot blocker, but limited offensively. Brad Stevens made a great head coaching hire in Ime Udoka. He's a no-nonsense coach. The Celtics should be improved defensively. They no longer have Kemba Walker, Evan Fournier and Tristan Thompson. That's a plus for defense and a minus for offense. Jaylen Brown, who was the Celtics' second-leading scorer at 24.7 points last season, is on the COVID list and questionable to play. If Brown does suit up, he likely won't be at 100 percent.

The Knicks made a surprising trip to the playoffs last season and made some strong offseason moves to improve. They signed Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier to go along with Julius Randle, RJ Barrett, Alec Burks, Immanuel Quickley and Derrick Rose gives them a strong perimeter game. Additionally, lifelong Knicks fan Walker is making his home debut at Madison Square Garden. This team is strong defensively under head coach Tom Thibodeau and improving much overall will be difficult, another run at the playoffs is on the horizon and it starts tonight against their big rival. New York is 18-3 ATS in its last 21 games at home when the line is +3 to -3. Boston made numerous changes , both with their roster and their management. Ime Udoka replaced Brad Stevens as head coach and that is a big downgrade. The Celtics are down one of their stars as Jaylen Brown underwent wrist surgery and has been entered in the safety protocol after testing positive for COVID-19. He averaged 24.7 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 3.4 apg so his absence is a big one. The bench will be thin as well as Al Horford is also in the COVID-19 safely protocol. Play (512) New York Knicks

The Toronto Raptors failed to make the playoffs last year and will be without their best player in Pascal Siakam to begin the season. The Wizards are 12-4-1 ATS in their last 17 road games. The betting public is all over the Raptors as a slim home favorite against the Wizards. Toronto is a team a lot of people are expecting to be better than the pundits are predicting, while no is expecting much of anything from a Washington team that lost triple-double machine Russell Westbrook.
If the books really thought this Raptors team was going to be this much improved team, why would is this line not getting bigger. They are begging you to take Toronto at -2.5.
I do think there's some nice pieces on this Toronto team, but they are starting the season without one of their best players in Pascal Siakam.
As for the Wizards, I don't think the roster is as bad as people think. They still have one of the better players in the league in Bradley Beal. I would definitely say he's going to be the best player on the floor in this game. They added in Spencer Dinwiddie, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Kyle Kuzma, Aaron Holiday and Montrezl Harrell.
I really think given the lack of respect that this Wizards team is getting coming into the season, they could be a good bet on team early. Even if they win here, the narrative will be more about Toronto not having Siakam than them being any good. Give me Washington +2.5!

If not for a late rally by LA last night, the Braves would have a commanding 3-0 series lead. Atlanta has simply looked the better team in this series and yet they are being priced like they have no shot at winning this game. The Dodgers may look like they got the edge here with Julio Urias on the mound for his first start of the series, but keep in mind he threw an inning of relief on Sunday, which was on just two days of rest after pitching 4 innings in relief in Game 5 against the Giants the previous series. I don't think he'll have his best stuff and probably won't go very deep in this game. Bet the Braves +195!
