NBA | Knicks vs Magic
Play on: Magic +7½ +100 at pinnacle
Simply too many points here for the Knicks to be laying after coming off a double OT win over the Celtics. The Knicks probably are a playoff team and we know the Magic aren't. However, the Magic do have plenty of young talent and they will be a sneaky dog this season especially at a number like this. The Magic were only 6.5 point dogs on the road to the Spurs and now 7.5 at home? Crazy overreaction here give the Magic!

NBA | Pacers vs Wizards
Play on: Wizards -110 at pinnacle
This is a play on the WASHINGTON WIZARDS for our Friday Free Play. Washington is coming off a solid opening night as it defeated Toronto by 15 points as a slight underdog and it heads into Friday as a slight home favorite. The Wizards were led by Bradley Beal who had 23 points and got 22 points from Montrezl Harrell off the bench. They played a great game defensively as they held Toronto to just 83 points on 31 percent shooting which made up for their dreadful long range shooting as Washington hit just 19 percent from behind the arc on 5-27 shooting. That will not last especially against an Indiana defense that allowed 42 percent from long range against Charlotte. The Pacers will not be in a good mindset tonight as they blew a 23-point lead against the Hornets and they are shorthanded on top of it as they went with just an eight-man rotation on Wednesday. Here, we play against underdogs off a road loss of three points or less, team from last season with a winning percentage between .450 and .550 of their games. This situation is 27-5 ATS (84.4 percent) since 1996. Play (538) Washington Wizards

Jack's Free Pick Friday: Boston Red Sox +103
I expect the Boston Red Sox to force a Game 7 here tonight with a win in Game 6. They have their ace going Friday and a big advantage on the mound. They should not be underdogs to the Houston Astros.
Nathan Eovaldi is 13-9 with a 3.68 ERA and 1.162 WHIP in 35 starts this season. He has allowed 3 earned runs or fewer in 12 of his last 13 starts overall.
Luis Garcia has really struggled of late. He has gone 0-2 with a 13.49 ERA and 2.537 WHIP in his last three starts. He has allowed 16 runs, 13 earned, and four homers in 8 2/3 innings during this span. He gave up 5 earned runs in one inning to the Red Sox in Game 2.
The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last nine games vs. a right-handed starter. Bet the Red Sox Friday.

NBA | Pelicans vs Bulls
Play on: Pelicans +7 -107 at pinnacle
Friday NBA Free play. My selection is on New Orleans plus the points over Chicago at 8:10 pm et on Friday.
I think we're getting a generous helping of points with the underdog Pelicans in this one as they try to bounce back following an ugly 20-point rout at the hands of the 76ers on Wednesday. The Bulls meanwhile, got off to a shaky start but ultimately found their footing in a narrow win over the lowly Pistons in Detroit. Optimism is running high in Chicago this year and while the Bulls should certainly be a playoff team in the East, I believe they're overvalued out of the gates. Of course, the Pelicans are without Zion Williamson to start the season but that's obviously factored into the line - a little heavy-handedly in my opinion. There's plenty of room for improvement here after the Pelicans shot a miserable 41.8% in their opener. Keep in mind, Chicago wasn't much better - against an inferior opponent to the one New Orleans faced - shooting 43% from the field. The big reason the Bulls were able to rally in their opener was Detroit's inept offense - the Pistons shot 40% from the field and turned the ball over 16 times. I don't expect the Pelicans to be quite as forgiving here as they look to avenge a pair of losses against Chicago last year. Take New Orleans.
