Kansas City has some defensive lapses - but I do not have faith in New York, especially on the road, to get it done here. KC have had some problems this season sitting at 3-4 through 7 games. Now they get NY. And we saw them beat a pair of Giants rivals in Washington 31-13 and the Eagles 42-30 on the road. So beating lesser teams doesn't seem like an issue. Scoring can be an issue for New York putting up 11-20-14-13 in 4 of their games. I think is one of those 34-10 type of games for KC. Take the UNDER in Monday Night Football.

Monday NFL Free play. My selection is on Kansas City minus the points over New York at 8:15 pm et on Monday.
While we're being asked to lay a lot of points with a Chiefs squad that has been extremely inconsistent this season, I believe the line is warranted and could be even higher. The Giants come in 'fat and happy' off a 25-3 dismantling of the Panthers last week. That win had more to do with Carolina's own inept performance than anything else. New York enters this game injury-depleted on both sides of the football and quite simply in the wrong place at the wrong time as the Chiefs look to bounce back from their worst performance in years against the Titans last Sunday. Note that while Kansas City has struggled for the most part this season, that hasn't been the case against NFC East opponents. Two of the Chiefs three victories have come against NFC East squads as they put up a whopping 73 points in wins over Philadelphia and Washington, on the road no less. The extra day off between games should serve the Chiefs and banged-up superstars Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill well in this spot. Meanwhile, I'm confident we'll see the Kansas City defense, which is one of the healthiest defenses in the entire league at this point of the season, rise up and deliver its best performance of the season on Monday night. Note that Kansas City enters this game riding a 35-20 ATS run at home against non-conference opponents and has gone 32-17 ATS the last 49 times it has come off five or six ATS losses in its last seven games, as is the case here. New York, meanwhile, has managed to deliver the cash just once in its last nine tries against AFC opponents. Take Kansas City.

It can be hard to back a team like the Clippers as a double-digit favorite. LA has not looked great to start the year. They are just 1-4 and we have already seen them lose in this role, falling 79-92 at home to the Cavs as a 8-point favorite. I think it's the time to buy low on the Clippers.
LA last played on Friday, so they have had a full two days to sit on the fact that they are just 1-4. I just feel like they are going to respond with one of their best efforts. Something we definitely wouldn't get against a bad team like OKC if they were 4-1 and feeling themselves.
I just think a motivated and hungry Clippers team will have their way against this Thunder team. OKC is 1-5 and are scoring just 97.2 ppg, while giving up an average of 111.7 ppg. Note that offense goes way down on the road, where they are 0-3 and scoring just 86.3 ppg. Give me the Clippers -11!
