Analysis:
Minnesota is quickly becoming the over team that they were last season. They are without three of their top 5 defensive players in Harrison Smith, Patrick Peterson, and Danielle Hunter. This Vikings team has very little depth and last year when injuries struck their defense, they allowed nearly 30 PPG. We began to see signs of the Vikings defensive decline this past week as the Vikings allowed Lamar Jackson to torch their defense, and Baltimore kept them on the field for 89 plays. Justin Herbert should have a field day against a pass defense ravaged with injuries.

The Chargers defense over the last month is rated dead last in success rate, 29th in EPA, and is also dealing with injuries to their top three corners. The Vikings possess an offense that can run on the Chargers, and two star wide receivers that can take advantage of the Chargers cornerback injuries.

Atlanta Falcons vs Dallas Cowboys Prediction 11/14 (UNDER 55)

It’s already week 10 in the NFL and here at In Game Trap, I am going to take a quick look at the Atlanta Falcons vs Dallas Cowboys Prediction 11/14.

On one hand, we have Dallas coming off of an embarrassing loss to the Denver Broncos and on the other hand, we have Atlanta sitting at 4-4 and seem to have it together. Well, according to the books Dallas is expected to win this game by 10 points and the total of 55 is expected to keep rising.
Hidden Trends

Atlanta is 8-1 as dogs off of a straight-up dog win. They defeated the New Orleans Saints last week as road dogs. However not only are the Falcons 0-8 before a Thursday game. They are also 1-9 away vs an opponent off of a double-digit straight-up loss.

Here’s the thing though, Dallas lost 16-30 so technically they didn’t lose by double digits.

As for Dallas, they are 16-4 at home vs .500 or less opponents off of a straight-up dog win.

Those trends don’t necessarily give me an edge in who will cover the spread so lets’ take a look at the total. And this is where it gets interesting, especially since the total keeps rising.

The Falcons are 10-2 on the under as dogs vs .666 or better opponents. The Cowboys are first in their division sitting at .750.

The Cowboys are 10-2 on the under in their last 12 games vs the NFC South.
Cowboys Are Regressing

Make no mistake about it, the loss to Denver was no fluke. It’s that time of the year and America’s team is once again imploding. And now they have to face a pretty confident Falcons team and a very experienced quarterback in Matt Ryan.

As of now this total sits at 55 and I expect It to keep climbing. The squares are driving the total up and the books will allow it because they wan’t people betting the over. Wait until closer to game time and hopefully we get 55.5 or even 56!

Chiefs vs Raiders Prediction 11/14/21 (Chiefs -2.5)

Here at In Game Trap for week 10 in the NFL I’ve been going over hidden trends that the public doesn’t have easy access too. I found two trends that supports a solid bet in the Falcons vs Cowboys game which can be found here. Let’s take a look at what I found for the Chiefs vs Raiders Prediction 11/14/21.
Kansas City Chiefs Might Be Back?

Are the Kansas City Chiefs back and ready to start racking up the wins? They may have had an easy win last week going up against a Rodgers-less Packers team. But this hidden trend I found is fully active because of it. And frankly, their win over the Packers is exactly what this team needed in order to get out of their funk.

Kansas City is 9-1 as road favorites of less than 7 points (-2.5) off of back to back straight up wins.
Over or Under The Game Total?

There weren’t any hidden trends that supported an over or under on the Kansas City Chiefs side of the ball. But I did find this trend on the Las Vegas Raiders side of the ball. I wouldn’t over think this one though. Unless you can possibly find an over trend that might favor the Chiefs’ side of the ball.

The Raiders are 8-0 on the OVER in their last eight games as home dogs. They are +2.5 home dogs under the lights against the Chiefs.
The Pick

Game total is currently set at 52 and in my opinion that number is a bit too high for my liking. Especially in a divisional game like this one. With that being said, the trend that favors the Chiefs winning and a Gruden-less Raiders team as home dogs makes complete sense. Back the Chiefs in this divisional show down and don’t think twice about it.

Analysis:

Minnesota has five players on the co vid list and is testing up to 30 close contacts, concerning for a team who has the leagues lowest vaccination rate. Although HFA will likely be minimal for the Chargers as I expect a lot of Vikings fans to travel, the Chargers have the clear better team in my opinion, as the Vikings defense is ravaged with injuries to DE Danielle Hunter, DT Michael Pierce, CB Patrick Peterson, and S Harrison Smith.
