Meanwhile, the Blues have dropped five of their last six games overall and check into this one a miserable 16-30 when coming off a loss against a division opponents over the last three seasons, as is the case here, outscored by an average margin of 0.6 goals in that situation. Vegas, on the other hand, is 27-9 when revenging a loss by two goals or more against an opponent over the last three seasons, outscoring the opposition by an average margin of 0.9 goals in that spot. We'll grab the insurance goal here in what projects to be a tightly-contested affair. Take Vegas +1.5 goals.

I like the spot for the Orlando Magic tonight. They will be out for revenge from a 108-117 loss at Milwaukee as identical 12.5-point dogs on Saturday. Now they get to face the Bucks in Milwaukee again just two days later here Monday.
The Bucks have been overvalued all season after winning the championship last year, and they continue to be tonight. The Bucks are 9-8 SU & 6-11 ATS this season. In those 17 games, they have won just twice by more than 12 points.
The Magic are 3-0 ATS in their last three games overall and playing their best basketball of the season. They upset the Knicks as 11.5-point dogs, only lost by 2 to the Nets as 9.5-point dogs and then covered in that 9-point loss to the Bucks as 12.5-point dogs. I think they take the Bucks to the wire again tonight.
Milwaukee is 9-30 ATS in its last 39 games following three or more consecutive home wins. Orlando is 4-1 ATS in its last five games as road underdogs. The Bucks are 0-7 ATS in their last seven home games. Bet the Magic Monday.

I'll gladly take my chances with the Timberwolves as a slim 3.5-point road favorite against the Pelicans on Monday. This just feels like way too good a price to pass up with Minnesota right now. The Timberwolves are playing some of their best basketball of the season. Minnesota has won 3 straight and are 5-1 ATS over their last 6.
What I really like about the Wolves coming into this game is their play offensively. Minnesota has shot 48% or better from the field in each of their last 3 games. Prior to this stretch they had gone 9 straight games shooting 45% or worse. They are also getting after it defensively, holding each of their last 4 opponents to 42% or worse.
Pelicans are just 3-15 SU on the season. NO is getting outscored on average by 8.6 ppg and are shooting just 42.3% and giving up 47%. Pelicans have scored 100 or less in 4 straight games. They are also playing their 3rd game in 4 nights. Give me the Timberwolves -3.5!

The Penguins are off b2b shutout victories. The Jets have lost their last two games. Yet, Winnipeg is a small favorite for good reason. Note that the Pens' victories have come against Eastern Conference opponents. They're 0-4 their last four against teams from the West. Off b2b losses, the Jets are going to be hungry. They know that they hit the road after this and they badly want a victory before leaving. This is the second time this month that they've lost two straight games. They immediately bounced back with a 4-1 win the first time, not allowing the losing streak to reach three games. I expect them to "stop the bleeding" again this evening. Consider Winnipeg.

Let's take the Spurs here tonight. Yes, I know the Suns are on a crazy winning streak right now and stepping in front of that might be dangerous. However, you can't simply ignore the spot here. The Suns played last night hitting everything in sight blowing out the Nuggets. I know the Spurs aren't great but they have also had 3 days off which I believe is the key to the game here. Spurs cover and I believe are live here in a great spot.

My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut on Monday was with the San Antonio Spurs plus the points versus the Phoenix Suns. San Antonio (4-11) has lost four straight games after their 115-90 loss at Minnesota on Thursday. The Spurs have covered the point spread in 10 of their last 14 games when playing with at least three days of rest. San Antonio is also 11-5-1 ATS in their last 17 games after a loss by at least 10 points. Phoenix (13-3) has won 12 straight games after their 126-97 victory against Denver yesterday. The Suns are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games when playing without rest. Phoenix has also failed to cover the point spread in 19 of their last 26 games after winning at least eight in a row. Saint Mary's heads to its first appearance in the Maui Invitational (relocated to Las Vegas) after wins over Prairie View, Texas Southern, Southern Utah and Bellarmine. The Gaels, who are allowing just 60.3 PPG, are hoping for their first 5-0 start since the 2016-17 season. Notre Dame has played just two games, home wins over Cal State Northridge and High Point. The Irish won their first game by 16 points and then bested High Point 70-61 on Tuesday.
The Gaels are balanced with five double-figure scorers, including Matthias Tass, who scored 25 points in Wednesday's 73-64 win over Bellarmine. However, it's the 6-7 Fotu (13.3 & 5.8) who leads the team in scoring and rebounding, followed by guard Johnson (11.5 & 4.0), the 6-10 Tass (11.5 & 3.5) plus guards Ducas (11.3 & 4.5) and Kuhse (10.3 & 4.0 APG).
The 6-9 Paul Atkinson (Yale transfer) is leading Notre Dame into Las Vegas by averaging 17.5 points and 8.5 rebounds, while getting help from guards Dane Goodwin (15.0 & 7.5) and Wesley (12.5). An area of concern is guard Prentiss Hubb, who led the team last season by averaging 14.6 points. He is off to a SLOW start (I'm being being kind here), averaging 4.0 PPG while missing 17 of 20 shots in the first two games.
This is the first major test for both schools but the Gaels are the much deeper and balanced team at this point and at this pointspread, have to be worth a play.
