We are getting a ton of points in our opinion on the Shockers as we had this game at 5 so we will make this an automatic 5% release for us. Both of these clubs come to Vegas with identical 3-0 records. We could go farther and say they both have 3 wins against very bottom level competition. Now the game steps up a level for both clubs but maybe Wichita St. a little more. New HC Lloyd has the Wildcats playing an up-tempo game and that could be a problem for a team going up against a very good defensive club. There is no doubt the tallest team in the country will give the Shockers fits on the boards and blocking shots but this is a very scrappy bunch that plays hard every night for second year coach Isaac Brown. In these early tournaments you can build up your March resume and this game will be WAY MORE IMPORTANT to Wichita St. than it will Arizona. One key fact is that Wichita St. will have one of the better players in the country back for tonight’s game in Tyson Etienne. There is no doubt he will be needed against a very good tall athletic bunch in Arizona. The up tempo Offense of Arizona going against the slow tempo of the Shockers and a solid defense. Very interesting to see how this plays out. If the Shockers can turn Arizona over as we think they can they will be able to get inside this number and maybe even pull the upset. The Wildcats are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 neutral site games which just solidifies our selection.
So lets get the job done with Wichita St.
