              1* NCAAB - Auburn/Loyola-Chicago FREE PICK on Loyola-Chicago +2.5
Thursday's Free NCAAB Pick is on the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers as a 2.5-point dog against the Auburn Tigers. We bet against Loyola-Chicago yesterday with Michigan State and while the Spartans won the game, I saw a lot that I liked out of that Ramblers team. However, the biggest reason I'm backing Loyola-Chicago today is the awful spot for Auburn coming off that crazy 109-115 2OT loss to UConn yesterday. Not only did players have to log extra minutes, that game was played at a pretty frantic pace. I just don't think the Huskies are going to have enough gas in the tank for this one. Bet the Ramblers +2.5!

NCAA-F | Fresno State vs San Jose State
                Play on: UNDER 52½ -110

#113/114 ASA FREE PLAY ON Under 52.5 Points – Fresno State vs San Jose State, Saturday at 3:30 PM ET - Both of these teams have something to play for so we expect a top notch effort defensively. Fresno can still with the MWC West with a win and SJSU needs this win to become bowl eligible. San Jose is just bad offensively. They rank 107th in total offense and 112th scoring offense. They are coming off a loss to Utah State where the Spartans put up 10 points on offense (+ one defensive TD) vs the 91st ranked defense. They have topped 27 points once this season and that was vs New Mexico State that ranks 127th in total defense. Fresno currently ranks 36th in total defense which will be the 3rd best defense they’ve faced this season. SJSU has faced 4 defenses ranked inside the top 60 and in those games they’ve averaged 12.5 PPG (in regulation). The Fresno offense put up some big scoring efforts early in the year but over the last 6 they are averaging 25 PPG. San Jose’s defense is solid (49th in total defense) and they are coming off their worst performance vs a high tempo Utah State team so this defense will be focused on Thursday. Prior to that poor outing the Spartan defense had allowed more than 27 points just once this season. In their 2 other games vs the top teams in the MWC West, the Spartans lost 27-24 vs a very good Nevada offense and the Wolfpack had 2 non offensive TD’s in that game. SJSU also lost 19-13 in OT (6-6 at end of regulation) vs San Diego State. Both of these teams are average paced right around 50th nationally so this won’t be a run and gun affair. The projected final score here is right around 30-23 in favor of Fresno and we don’t see either team getting to their number. Take the UNDER.

NCAA-F | Fresno State vs San Jose State
Play on: Fresno State -7 -106 at pinnacle

Jack's Free Pick Thursday: Fresno State -7
The Fresno State Bulldogs are still very much alive for the Mountain West Championship. They need to win this game Thursday and have San Diego State lose to Boise State on Friday to win the West division because they own the head-to-head tiebreaker with the Aztecs. Boise State is favored in that contest. So I know the Bulldogs will show up in a big way Thursday, and it should be good enough to cover this 7-point spread.
San Jose State won the Mountain West last season and has been a huge disappointment this season at 5-6. I question whether or not they even want a bowl game after a dreadful 17-48 home loss to Utah State last time out. That game was every bit the blowout that the final score showed as the Spartans were held to just 150 total yards against a bad Utah State defense.
And that's the problem for the Spartans. I don't think they can score enough against this solid Fresno State defense that gives up just 21.3 points per game. San Jose State averages just 21.0 points per game and 341.7 yards per game this season. It hasn't mattered who has been under center for them as starter Nick Starkel has actually been worse this season than backup Nick Nash. Neither is completing more than 54% of their passes.
Fresno State boasts one of the best offenses in the country. The Bulldogs average 33.0 points per game and 461.4 yards per game this season. Quarterback Jake Haener is the real deal, completing 66.8% of his passes for 3,467 yards with a 28-to-11 TD/INT ratio. He had huge games against Oregon and UCLA earlier this season in splitting those two close contests.
The Bulldogs are 21-8-1 ATS in their last 30 road games. Fresno State is 8-2 ATS in its last 10 games following a win by more than 20 points. Simply put, I know the Bulldogs are going to bring their 'A' game, and that should be good enough to cover this number even if San Jose State brings its 'A' game. But there's a good chance the Spartans bring something much less than that to the field, something similar to their lackluster effort against Utah State last time out. Bet Fresno State Thursday.

                    Play on: UNDER 52½ -110

Friday CFB Free play. My selection is on the 'under' between Fresno State and San Jose STate at 3:30 pm et on Thursday.
There's a lot on the line for both of these teams on Thanksgiving Day. Fresno State is looking to wrap up the MWC West Division with a win while San Jose State needs a victory to become Bowl eligible at the last possible moment. With that in mind, I'm confident we'll see this one played fairly close to the vest. Keep in mind, the last time these two teams met they combined to score only 33 points at this same venue two years ago. The San Jose State defense had held its last four opponents to a grand total of only 87 points before getting lit up for 48 points in last week's blowout loss against Utah State. Consider that a wake-up call heading into this pivotal contest. Fresno State got a similar reality check two games back against Boise State as it gave up a whopping 40 points. It responded by allowing just seven points in a rout of lowly New Mexico on November 13th. Note that the 'under' has cashed in each of the Bulldogs last two games and is now 33-18 in their last 51 games following a conference win. The 'under' is also 8-1 in San Jose State's last nine games in an underdog role, as is the case here. Take the under.

                          Play on: OVER 51½ -102

                          FREE PICK: Raiders/Cowboys OVER 51.5
                          RATING: 30*
                          ROT#: 703
I will take my chances on the OVER 51.5 in Thursday's Thanksgiving showdown between the Cowboys and Raiders. We have seen this line drop a full 4 points since it opened, as there's been quite the overreaction after how bad these two offenses looked in Week 11.
The Cowboys managed just 9 points and failed to find the end zone in their highly anticipated showdown with the Chiefs, while the Raiders scored just 13 points at home in a blowout loss to the Bengals.
I know Dallas is down some key guys on offense and that's the third straight week the Raiders have scored 17 or fewer points. I just think it's a good matchup for both offenses.
As broken as the Raiders offense looks, I believe the real problem has been their defense. They let a broken KC offense put up 41 points and over 500 yards of offense on them in a prime time game and then gave up 32 to the Bengals last week.
Even if the Cowboys are shorthanded offensively, I got faith in Dak Prescott being able to guide that offense on multiple scoring drives against this Las Vegas stop unit. You also got to keep in mind they really didn't get to practice for not having Cooper against the Chiefs as he was a late Covid scratch and they lost Lamb at the half.
It's a little more tricky with the Raiders offense. As I do think they are suffering from not having Gruden to run his offense, but this Cowboys defense can be had and I think it's a bit of a flat spot for Dallas given how much that game against Mahomes and the Chiefs meant to them last week.
There's also the short rest factor here, which I think is a much tougher ask for the guys on the defensive side of the ball than it is the offensive players. Give me the OVER 51.5!

                            NCAA-B | Alabama vs Iona
Play on: Iona +12½ -110 at Mirage

My free play is on Iona at 5:00 ET.

Nate Oats spent four years at Buffalo and went 59-13 in his last two, making the Big Dance each time. That allowed him the opportunity to come to Alabama and after a 16-15 first season (COVID) he led the Tide to a 26-7 record and a Sweet 16 appearance. Gone from that team are the 6-7 Jones (11.2 & 6.6), who was not only the SEC player-of-the-year but also the league's Defensive POY. Also gone is veteran guard Petty (12.6 & 5.2). However, the Tide have plenty of talent left and have opened 4-0 (currently ranked 10th in the AP poll). Alabama will square off against another undefeated team tonight in Lake Buena Vista, Fl, as the Tide take on the 5-0 Iona Gaels. Some may have heard of Iona's head coach, none other than Rick Pitino. I know Oats and the Alabama players have heard about him (more in a bit).
COVID limited the Gaels to just 13 regular season games last season (8-5 / 6-3 in the MAAC). However, tourney time was NOT head coach Rick Ptino's 'first rodeo!' Iona beat FOUR opponents (Gaels held those opponents to just 53.8 PPG) on its way to the tourney title and an NCAA bid. Iona fell to two-seed Alabama in the Big Dance, but held them 12 points less than its season average and covered, in a 68-55 loss. Iona lost its two top guards in Ross (18.4) and Gist (13.3). However, Pitino likes his three transfers, Joiner (9.3-5.3-43.5) from Tulsa, Jolly (16.0 & 5.0) from SMU and the 6-8 Slazinski (10.8 & 4.0) from Louisville. He loved the potential of 6-9 PF Joseph (11.1 & 7.5 as a freshman) and he has delivered, leading the team in scoring (16.6) and rebounding (7.2). 6-8 veteran van Eyck comes off the bench to average 12.0 & 5.6.
Alabama did return its top-two scorers from last season and guards Shackelford and Quinerly are again leading the way. Shackelford checks in at 19.5 & 6.8 and Quinerly at 17.5-4.5-5.0. Swingman Ellis adds 14.5 & 8.3 plus freshman center Bediako (9.3 & 4.8) is starting, while 6-6 freshman Miles (10.3) is coming off the bench to give the team a spark.

The last time the two programs met, the right to advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament was on the line. This time around, the winner moves on to the semifinals of the ESPN Events Invitational against either Belmont or Drake on Friday. The stakes are not nearly as high but I again expect Pitino's team to 'hang' with 'Bama. Take the points.

                            Good luck...Larry

Turkey Day card has 3 Big NGL Plays, an early 3< an Afternoon Platinum Supreme, and the Thursday night NFL Total of the year. In College Football we have the Egg Bowl Play going in evening action. NCAAB Comp Play below.
The NCAAB Comp Play is on Iona at 5:00 eastern. The Gaels are taking 12 points here in a neutral court game against an Alabama team that can score but plays very little defense ranked 206th in the nation.. The Tide have failed to cover 4 of 5 as a favorite when not on their home court. Iona has covered 8 of 9 off a win, 12 of 15 in Neutral court games and 4 of 5 vs .600 or better opposition. They are off to a 5-0 start and are 13th in the nation in defending the three. Look for The Gaels to hang around here and get the cover. Rob V- Golden Contender Sports
