The Colts blew the game against Tampa last week, but this week get a Houston team that is hurting on offense as many key players are out today. Tyrod Taylor doesn’t have many of his weapons this afternoon, and as you know, the Texans are just a bad football team. The Colts should run the ball with Jonathan Taylor and then find a host of their great receiving targets. Houston has some veteran players who can keep them in a game on defense, but their offense is struggling and doesn’t have the talent to stay in this game. Take the Colts.

Dolphins -6.5 over Giants
Daniel Jones will miss today’s game for the Giants. Jones isn’t exactly an elite QB, but he brings mobility to the offense that helps move the chains. The Giants have been hurting at the skill position and will need immediate chemistry with Mile Glennon. I don’t think it’s going to happen. Miami is a team that flies under the radar, but they have a couple of ten-win seasons and win more than people think. The Dolphins’ defense has been decent, and their ability to pressure the quarterback will help today against a rusty Mike Glennon. Look for the Dolphins’ pressure to lead to turnovers and then on the offensive side to have a balanced attack running the ball and throwing the ball behind the arm of Tua Tagovailoa. Take the Dolphins.

Raiders -2 over Washington
Taylor Heinicke has performed well this year, but I don’t trust the offensive line today as they are dealing with many injuries. Las Vegas has a few injuries on offense of their own, but I believe they can take advantage of a Washington team that is missing key pass rushers in Chase Young and Motrez Sweat. Derek Carr should have enough time to find his open targets. Look for Hunter Renfrow to have a big game. Vegas is better in the trenches today due to being the healthier team. Take the Raiders.

This afternoons’ game is a two-part play treated as two straight wagers. The Bengals just blew out the Steelers, and now there is a news report about Big Ben playing out his final season. If you look hard enough, there is a drama with every team, but Baltimore has legitimate injuries today on the defensive side of the ball. Every Ravens cornerback is on the injury report. There have been massive injuries at all three levels of the defense this year for Baltimore. These teams hate each other, so throw out everything that happened last week. Pittsburgh looked horrible last week, but Baltimore didn’t play much better in their matchup. Lamar Jackson struggled, so it’s not far-fetched to think he does so again on the road in Pittsburgh. Both teams have issues on the defensive end, so I like the over. I believe Pitt can force a few Lamar Jackson turnovers and get a big home win against a rival. Take the Steelers and the Over.
