The Memphis Grizzlies are definitely an UNDER team right now without PG JA Morant due to injury. They have really picked it up on defense to make up for his absence, going UNDER the total in three of their last four while holding all four opponents to 91 points or fewer.
One of those games was against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday when they won 97-90 for just 187 combined points. These teams are obviously familiar with one another now, and familiarity favors defense and low-scoring games. It will be another defensive battle in their 2nd meeting in 5 days here tonight.
The UNDER is 3-0 in Mavericks last three games overall. They are really struggling on offense in scoring 99 or fewer points in four of their last five games overall. It won't get any easier tonight against this Memphis team that is clamping down defensively.

My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut on Wednesday was with Over the Total in the game between Marquette and Kansas State in a Big 12/Big East Battle showdown. Marquette (7-2) stays on the road this week after an 89-76 loss at Wisconsin as a 6.5-point underdog on Saturday. The Over is 6-1-1 in the Golden Eagles’ last eight games on the road. The Over is also 5-2-1 in Marquette’s last 8 games as an underdog. Kansas State (5-2) comes off a 65-59 upset win at Wichita State as a 5.5-point underdog on Sunday. The Wildcats have covered the point spread in four straight games — and they have played 23 of their last 34 games Over the Total after covering the point spread in four straight games. Kansas State has also covered the point spread in 9 of their last 13 home games Over the Total against teams with a winning record on the road. Take the Over. Best of luck — Frank.

I will take my chances with Towson cashing as a 15-point dog at Ohio State. The Tigers are one of the top teams in an underrated CAA and are going to be excited about the chance to show off here against a Top 25 team like the Buckeyes.
Towson has shown us they can hang with some of the better teams and have not lost a game this season by more than 10 points.
The even bigger thing here is the bad spot for Ohio State. The Buckeyes hosted and beat Duke last Tuesday and then had to turn around on Sunday and open up Big Ten play at Penn State. They won both of those games, so there's not urge to play well here against a lessor team and they got another huge game on deck at home against Wisconsin on Saturday. I like Towson to hang around and make a game of it. Give me the Tigers +15!

As expected, the coaching change made an immediate difference for the Canucks. Off a 4-0 win, they've now won three of four. The Canucks lost by a single goal at Boston recently and they've played the Bruins tough in recent games here, at Vancouver. In fact, they've beaten the Bruins in three straight meetings here, winning by a combined score of 17-5. Going back further finds that the Canucks are 7-3 their last 10, as a host in this series. In the recent 3-2 game at Boston, the Canucks had a 2-1 lead, entering the third period. It was still 2-2 with four minutes remaining. In what should be another close one, consider grabbing the extra +1.5 goals.

They have losses to Michigan, Wichita St, SMU & UCLA. Those are by far upper class in comparison to Seattle. Rebels lay it to the them tonight.
